Recommend
10/10 definitely recommend. My car only had Bluetooth for phone call, but this was a life saver, really cheap too! Connected right away. Audio didn’t sound statically or anything.

Works well – added Bluetooth capability to old B&O - just one irritant
I have the J205 connected to the Aux-in of my old music center. It was easy to set-up and use, quickly connecting to both the Bluetooth of my iPhone and my iPad – I really like that it retains the connection to both of these devices so that I can stream from either one as suits me at the time. The Bluetooth range appears to be good (I connect from adjacent room or outside patio), as is the sound quality. It works really well and I’m very pleased with it.The J205 is designed to switch itself off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery power – obviously a good idea in most circumstances to avoid draining the battery. But, that does mean that you have to go to the unit and switch the J205 off and back on again the next time you wish to use it.However, in my situation (music center in bedroom, me listening through ceiling speakers sitting in adjacent lounge or outside adjacent patio) I had hoped to be able to keep the J205 always on and always ready to receive streaming input directly controlled from my mobile devices whenever I wanted – so I had hoped to be able to leave it plugged in to a charging source to avoid the automatic 5 minute shutdown. Unfortunately, whilst it is possible to use the J205 at the same time as charging for short occasional periods of time, the manufacturer does NOT recommend to do so for extended periods of time.(As an aside - I did liaise several times via e-mail with the manufacturer and found them to be incredibly responsive and helpful ….. a 5 Star Service). The workaround to keep the J205 active is to maintain an active Bluetooth connection. Then you can control streaming and playback on/off directly from the iPhone or iPad from wherever you’re sitting in the adjacent area. Obviously, that represents a continual drain on the J205 battery – as it does on the connected iPhone/iPad battery. I haven’t had the J205 long enough to assess its battery performance – but the manual says it will run for up to 16 hours on a full charge. So, once I’ve assured myself that the battery life will last at least one full waking day on a charge, I will probably purchase a second J205 – and connect a fresh one each time I want extended availability / listening convenience – whilst recharging the other one.Otherwise, for most people in most applications it will meet their needs and work extremely well – and I would highly recommend it.

Crazy good sound quality!
I want sure about how the sound would come through compared to hardwire but there is NO difference. The battery life was pretty good until I started leaving it plugged it, but I prefer to leave it plugged in that way it stays on. If morning is connected to it, it turns off and I use this thing in my car so I prefer it stay on all the time for easier reconnection Definitely more than I expected for the price.

False advertising
NOT the latest, or even close, Bluetooth codec. The device name is blatantly misleading and false advertising. This device, at best, does AAC, which is standard for iPhone, and many years old. There is no chance of high res Bluetooth 5.4 with this device, as the name suggests. Very basic and should be avoided at all costs.

Yes. It works great.
I use it to connect my DirecTV output audio to my bluetooth speakers or sometimes to my earpods. My monitor is not a TV so it doesn't have speakers.
