There aren't a lot of purely practical books on NLP, and I found this one to be very helpful and easy to use.Every technique is divided to steps and fully explained. Instead of the usual NLP jargon, the writing is quite clear and to the point, making it easy to practice the tools instantly.There are a few chapters in the beginning of the book that give a good overview on the future of NLP and answer some of the hardest questions a new learner would have: why isn't NLP a mainstream field? How to go about practicing and mastering these techniques and ideas? how to choose a good training program and why are there so many low-quality training programs? why nobody is supervising the quality that is offered with the "NLP" name? and so on.The rest of the book is packed with practical techniques and advice.In summary, I recommend this book to anyone who's interested in the application of NLP without the jargon or theory based discussions.

I really like the new edition, it's bigger and has lots of new techniques. Finally they brought back the summary outlines, very useful. It's an essential book for any NLP enthusiast.

The techniques are presented in steps and fully explained. Instead of the usual NLP jargon, the writing is quite clear, making it easy to practice the tools instantly. The material is easy to understand even if you don't have a background in NLP.The book is 2 inches thick so there's alot of material to study.I'm happy with the book except for one thing. When I took the book out of the box and looked at it, I noticed a problem with it right away. I've never seen this before. The printing on the spine area of the book is upside down. So basically, if I place the book on my bookshelf next to all my other books, the title will be facing the wrong way -- it is upside down. In order to make the title on the spine area face the same direction as all my other books, I'll have to place the book on the book shelf upside down. I don't know if the publisher just made a mistake on a batch of books and decided to sell them anyway, or what. The book was very expensive at almost $60.00 so I find this very annoying. I'm deducting 1-star for this issue.In summary, the book is good for anyone who's interested in the application of NLP without the jargon or theory based discussions and the steps make it easy to learn.

so much information on how to know YOU and others . Teaches so many techniques you will use this book for years.

The biggest problem with this book is that is is big and comprehensive. It is easy to understand but dense reading and will take a long time to get through. NLP requires practice and there is enough in hear to keep you practicing something new for the rest of your life. Great book just open it anywhere and start reading

This book is probably the only NLP book you'll need. If you're new to NLP, a beginner's book(which the author has written) would go good with this one. But only if you want to know more detail about "Why" a pattern or technique works.This book is easy to read and has no filler, which can be common with NLP books. Which I can understand to a point when it comes to motivating someone to get excited about learning the material and explaining why NLP works. If you're looking for a straight the the point book on NLP then this is it.

It's has many of the processes I already knew. Great resource book
