Great Learner Piano
I bought this for my older daughter when she started learning to play. It’s a small enough size to go under her bed or in her closet but big enough for her to learn and practice. It’s lightweight and has great sound. I like all the added features.

Portable small and fun to squeeze in some practice time. Good for kids
Thanks to the reviewers and musicians below, I purchased this tiny keyboard in order to practice scales etc away from my gigantic keyboard- No way can I drag out that thing every day or for a few minutes of practice! It’s just what I needed to help me squeeze in some more practice time. It was very inexpensive for my purposes. I also have very little hands and this helps me also. It is polyphonic - a few keys play a once although limited in the fullness of the sound.I might even take it to work to practice on my lunch break, it’s so small that it’s very portable. If you have big hands it may not work for you.For a kid just starting out with lessons it would be good too. There are earphones too, moms. You can buy a common electric cord also. It’s too nice for a toddler to bang around. On some advanced topics:Some of the reviewers said that there wasn’t a capacity for changing the tuning. It is clearly in the manual how. But I purchased a very expensive key board to reach middle eastern semitones and even that was very tricky. I think you need a computer connected synthesizer for that or a $4000 dollar keyboard from Corg I believe. Don’t try to reach microtones on anything other than that or a fret less stringed instrument.I am happy that I have this for ability to practice scales and melodies.

Not high quality, but easily transported and inexpensive
This certainly isn’t a replacement for a well tuned baby grand, and it’s sound quality isn’t amazing. But this is an excellent practice keyboard and perfect for kids or newbies just trying to see if piano is for them. We took a bunch of road trips and this fits easily in our trunk so we could take our practice on the road.Given the low price and the small form factor, this is a perfect option for portable practice. Note that the keys are not weighted, so this doesn’t feel like a real piano.Recommend highly for beginner practice, but not for intermediate or advanced musicians.

Perfect for having fun with music and other sounds
Probably not for the serious musician. But if all you want is to have fun making your own music with a little assistance, this is perfect. Compact size, only 44 keys and they are a little smaller than standard but not so much that you have trouble playing it. You can play it comfortably on your lap. It has a headphone jack so you can play without disturbing others. It has a good array of tones and rhythms, plus some interesting sound effects. A couple of the tones don't seem to make any sound until you press and hold the keys. In one case you get the sound of a helicopter. My only negative is it doesn't come with a power supply. So you have to buy a power supply separately or run it on batteries.

Great for small hands! More Features than a kid understands
I bought this for my son as he really enjoyed playing the real piano's we had at the last two houses. we rented. What Luck! So, I got him this to use and learn on. Everyone thinks it's great I can't get the adults off of it but I noticed that the lady with training kept hitting two keys with her pinky. The keys are a little smaller condensing the keyboard. Which they tell you up front and I knew that. I am just confirming it is true and what an adult could expect to encounter. The Beat keys are not easy to use but it doesn't stop my son! He is 7 and there are way more functions on here than I am able to cope with so the learning curve is steep. That also means sound combinations are virtually infinate! I really think Casio has made a great product for young adults to learn on and they will learn about how Full Size keyboards can be used. 10 Stars!

Perfect as a first keyboard
I wanted to get a keyboard for my 5-year old son on his birthday, and I spent good amount of time to decide whether to go for a low-end 88-key (~$200) or this $49 44-key keyboard. Hope my review saves some time of others. We have been using it for couple of months now, and the features which we love are: (1) The sound is loud and clear. (2) It is very light weight (3) We did not buy adapter, and didn't have to replace battery since we bought it (about 4 months). (4). Features (2) and (3) make it very convenient to play the keyboard at any location and in any position! (on the sofa, on the bed, on the carpet, etc.) (5) It has 99 sounds, which gives a good exposure to a young child. Maybe they all are not good for playing a song, but the range of sounds expand the child's horizon (6) There is one push button by which one can toggle between piano mode and organ mode, which sounds similar to Indian harmonium (reed organ), and this feature is very handy if you are exploring both piano and harmonium (7) One can use headphone, and can play it silently, useful if you're exploring 'music theory' in the middle of the night! All in all this is great keyboard to introduce a child as well as an adult to piano, to determine if someone has enough interest to invest into a costlier full-fledged keyboard in future. Also if a child or an adult can play other instrument, he/she can translate and correlate the music theories he/she already knows. Some additional comments: we printed out rhymes with piano notation written in letters (A, B, C, ..., and not in staff notation) for our child, and he enjoyed it greatly. Also we bought piano stickers and put on it (had to cut short the stickers to accommodate). The bright stickers look good and they have staff notation on them as well.

If you are a beginner and want Casio to start with - Go for it!
I bought this product in 2017 and working absolutely fine after 5 years.1) It is battery operated and with fully charged ones lasts for couple of days easily. My 7 years old son has developed interest in music listening to the in-built tunes and drum beats.2) Headphone jack is the best feature if you want to practice without disturbing others.3) Portable and can be easily carried to trip.4) Speakers are good quality and no problems after years of usage5) Digital screen shows the keys while a tune is being playedPower adapter is not included.
