I am sorry, I really cannot answer your question, it is one of about 100 items I sell. The only thing I can tell you it is dried seaweed. I imagine wet it gets wet is it still semi crunchy, but I dont know for sure. If you look under the main heading, you will see the question was answered that it is not good for salads, it is good for ramen and soups. I am sorry i could not be more helpful
