Best Sports GPS Watch
I have had the Garmin Fenix 6X Sapphire for just over a month now, having previously had the instinct, 945 and the 47mm Fenix 6. Without doubt this 6X is the best one by far. As I am a cyclist, both road and mtb, and wanted a nice big clear screen, to be able to quickly read the data fields whilst going down hills/ rocky tracks. This watch not only does that with ease, but for the first time, I have finally found a watch that has the battery life to easily last through 3 full days of cycle events ( 3x 8 hour 70 mile off road sportives), within a 2 week period. If you don't subject it to that and just use it normally, ie hr and phone disconnected, it lasts 42 days! Yes I know, 42 days. It doesnt need solar or any green rings around it, if you know what I mean.. It looks rugged, the 26mm strap is excellent at holding it on your wrist (unlike the rather flimsy 22mm one on the 47mm Fenix 6). I wear this everyday, all day and would thoroughly recommend it. If you want a great looking watch for a range of sports, with an unscratchable screen, ideal weight, clearly presented data screens...this is it.June 2022 Update----------------------This watch has been phenominal. The battery easily copes with 4-6 long GPS draining activities. I did a 9 hour mountain bike event with gps and it only went down by 15%. After 9 months that's pretty good. I have found many 26mm after market watch straps/ bands.Overall this is a great watch. It is big, but I got used to it very quickly, mainly as the screen is so readable. Would thoroughly recommend.

A 21 day battery life
Its been a long search but I think this is the best smart watch I have found. It is pretty accurate and I bought a metal strap which has worked very well with it. I prefer apple products usually but Garmin have the smart watch market sussed. Very please with it but its down to personal preferences

Just a brilliant watch love it
Love this watch, had the garmin 3 for years fantastic aid when outdoors doing Munros, cycling, running, swimming etc , and the garmin fenix 6 with longer battery life is so much better for longer adventures, great price on amazon at the time made it a must buy

Significant step up from Fenix 3 and worth it
This a great watch and computer, and love it. I’ve not expected absolute accuracy on all its capabilities and so far think Temperature about the same; i.e. a mix of body temperature and ambient. Pulse oximetry is not good. Tells me I at best run at c 90%, while on clinical devices I am as expected c 95%. Maybe more significant is change from normal, but not tested in that context, but not really important to me.Maps, impressive. Surprised how good. Otherwise, a brilliant device and much better linkages with my phone and internet

Absolutely amazing fitness watch with endurance level battery life
Great watch for detailed info on activities, not smart per se as in alexa or Google but massively endowed with fitness metrics and mapping capability the thing is a beast and I'll only use a few of of its preprogrammed modes sync to mobile very easy too. Best is the battery life it just keeps on going over a week since started and still going strong Inc heart rate 24/7

I have moved from WearOS to a Garmin
I have spent weeks reading reviews and comparing the functionalities. I have decided to make the move to a sports specialist type of watch (now, a month later I have ditched completely the smart watch). The Fenix is really a different bread and amazes for the options it gives on my day, from sports to basic information. It has some connectivity with the mobile phone but not the key point here. If you want a practical day to day sports watch, this is it.

Watch out for import VAT
The seller is based in the EU. I have tried, and failed, to find out if import VAT and/or duties apply. That can add over 20% to the price you pay. But there is no information on that. Cancelled order just to be on the safe side.

Excellent functionality
A multi sport watch that has excellent battery life, triathlon features and is good value. A good option if you don’t want to pay crazy money for the newer models with very similar specs. Garmin pay is not supported by many banks which is the only downside. Need to be cautious that the model has music function as the basic model does not come with this but is not widely advertised!
