Deliciously Drunk off of Vanilla Cookie Craziness
These don't last long. Once the price gets down to the appropriate amount of around 5 buckaroos a pop? I buy. I have nad to stop buying these. Once I fugured out that they can come to the house and I don;t have to trek down ot the Natural Food Store and try to sneak these into teh house past the family sentries it has been a wrap. As long as I get to the amazon packages before anyone elwe in teh house? Yipee! Yes, I take the box, put it in a closet and snick-cnack until the last one is gone. Issues: There is some kind of shrinkflation going on. I have been buying these for years and now Im seeing space in the container. As in, in some rows there are missing cokies. I've taken picutres, but don't have that phone on me right now. Only one time have the cookies been slightly UNDERdone, that was interesting. I thought "these look a little too white!" and they didn't taste done. The fun Adult Bonus is finding the occasional cookie sandwich that either has one of the cookies "inside out" or even better, BOTH of the cookies backwards, haha, what fun! Or, is it a scary slip in the manucacturing process. I've left all of the spelling errors in this on purpose, why? I;m drunk off of these Vanilla Cookies! YUM! PS - ONE time, a crazy crazy seller sent these cookies literally wrapped in saran plastic wrap with a shipping label smacked on teh outside. No Box. Straight cookies in the mail. Six yellow packages taped together. I mean, there were nothing but graham cracker krumbles in there. YES, I did contact customer service and get my money back. Amazon did me right on that one. Thanks Jeff! (And Preeti!) Edit (while Cookie Sober): Have ordered these about 12 times and 2 or 3 times I've received the wrong flavor. A 6 pack of chocolate instead of vanilla. Not a fan of the chocolate cookie part... I'm an ingredient-reader so I believe it's because the chocolate is processed with alkali, that's been the thing with all of the chocolate baked goods that have a strange taste to me. Only thought of this because I was browsing other reviews and saw that others, too, have received the wrong flavors. Don't give a bad review for that folks, remember, reviews are on the product, not the shipping or Amazon or how you felt that day when you got your package. Enjoy! PS Edit.... and yes, the taste of the cookies isn't the same. Can't recommend like crazy like I used to. 12 more orders are in order. :)

Unless you’re a geologist pass up these rocks.
They are inedible. Hard and stale. Very disappointing. Fresh from the store they are delicious but these are clearly not fresh.

Best tasting vanilla sandwich cookie!
I have tried many brands of vanilla sandwich cookies, but this by far outshines them all in a great natural vanilla flaver

Don't kid yourself, they are NOT truly organic
The cookies I have seem to be a variation of the ingredient list shown here on Amazon as well as the one mentioned in another review here. Mine has expeller pressed palm kernel oil and sunflower oil (no canola, thank goodness as that stuff - unless specified as organic - can be genetically engineered). Mine also has Peppermint Oil. If they would just ditch the non-organic soy, I'd be liking this. These taste great! I stopped buying Girl Scout cookies when I eliminated foods crammed with gmo ingredients from my daily eating habits. I missed them, but not enough to buy them. When I saw the minty Newman O's, I tried them and LOVED them! They tasted like Girl Scout cookies only better (no slick residue on my tongue from that weird fake chocolate coating those had). I would actually eat them more often except for the fact that they contain soy, and it is NOT specified as Organic Soy, thus I can only assume it's genetically engineered soy, which is not an ingredient I'm comfortable consuming regularly. I'm very disappointed that Newman's has chosen to use that ingredient. It almost seems as if they're exploiting their own organic reputation in selling these cookies. While the recipe indicates a number of organic ingredients, they lack organic - or even Project Non-GMO certification - and thus are just regular cookies with mostly better ingredients than average. It's the sort of weasel-y tactic I'd expect from one of the mainstream "big food" brands. I truly don't get why they are not making the effort to either source non-gmo soy or find another ingredient to use in its place. That's the #1 reason I'll ultimately figure out my own recipe and will no longer buy these. If they were 100% non-gmo I'd be lazy and just keep buying the pre-packaged cookies. My fingers are crossed they'll move in that direction. If they used to use canola oil but now no longer do, perhaps they will get rid of that soy as well.
