Apple Watch for Dummies

Similar to all “Dummy” books, this book explains how to set up and use all the features of the Apple Watch. I have yet to determine if the instructions pertain to the latest Apple Watch version or if the instructions are applicable to any version.Unfortunately, I just had cataract surgery and had to interrupt my reading of the book shortly after Chapter 1 because my eyes have not recovered enough to read ANYTHING. .But the style of writing is meant to explain EVERYTHING to even the most lNOM SAVVY, NON TECHNICAL person. A “ Dummy”.I chose this book because I have progressive multiple sclerosis which comes with increasingly declining cognitive skills. And so far, I “get” the author’s explanations.I highly recommend this book to a novice, especially those who cannot attend the various training seminars offered by APPLE at its stores.

I got a wonderful surprise Christmas present this season..an apple watch. I thought I could figure out everything myself since I own an I phone 6, a macbook pro, and ordered the FIRST delivery of iPads. Yet, I was caught by surprise. Maybe I couldn't figure out EVERYTHING. So I ordered Apple Watch for Dummies. I have read through the book twice and to find different solutions to Apple Watch questions and have found each answer to be well written and helpful. There are also numerous tips in the book for getting the most out of the watch, many of which I would never have imagined.If you are tech savvy, you don't need this book. For someone like me, it was money well spent.

I usually have my granddaughter help me with my technology problems but I bought this book just in case she was out of the house when something popped up on my iWatch that I could not solve myself. It is a long guide that describes each button, screen, and component of iWatch very well! I would recommend to any other "Dummies" out there like me!

I like this manual although it is a little out of date. I was able to find nearly everything I wanted more information about. One thing I wanted to know about is what happens to a saved workout and I couldn't find anything in this book about this particular function.

Good review of the watch and how to customize each face. There were some cool things I picked up with this book. There are a few features that were not in this book that you will discover when you play around with your new watch, such as how to change you music album from a tiny dot in the upper right hand corner of the frame.

I would give 5 stars but I needed dummies book for Apple 3, as I need help with counting swimming laps. Wasn’t clear when I purchased book.

A decent book that will help you get the most from your watch (I love my watch by the way). There is free manual at the apple site on line, which is not bad. But this is better.

Should have a better index. Having a difficult time finding info on the battery. When it's fully charged or needs charging
