Women's Vintage Ruffle Floral Flared A Line Swing Casual Cocktail Party Dresses with Pockets

I wear a size 18 in dresses and purchased an XL. I loved the fit. Very comfortable and didn't have to stretch the fabric. It has a zipper, but I was able to slip it right over my head. Please don't mind me not having my make up done yet, but wanted to share the dress. I will purchase from this seller again in a different color and pattern now that I know the pattern will not stretch out of shape.

This is a beautiful dress that gives a really flattering shape. The length and style are modest yet still very stylish. To me, the ruffles at the sleeves and chest and the overall cut give it a classy 1940's vibe. The length falls just below my knees which shows some skin but not too much. The style is an A line cut which is fitted in the waist and then flares out through the bottom. The flare helps camouflage the lower stomach area but still accentuates the waist. It has a crew cut neck and small ruffles at the arm. Again, showing just the right amount of skin to still stay modest.The overall sizing does run a little large. The medium was large in the bust and waist on me but it was still wearable and looked good. However the size small would have fit me perfectly. For reference I am 5'5" 118lbs measurements 34-25-38. I was also surprised at the quality of the fabric, it's got a good thickness to it and I would imagine even in lighter colors it would not be see through. And it's got pockets too! This is a really stylish, well made dress that looks especially flattering on people with curves. And on people who don't have alot of curves, the flared a-line cut helps give the appearance of a more hour glass shaped figure. Very stylish !

This dress fits perfectly. True to size. It’s very pretty and I love the ruffles around the top and draping down the sides. However, it flares out around the hips and thigh area. If you have any extra self in that area it accentuates it. I took a photo sideways to show that I look ok from the side, but when I face the camera it looks like I have very large hips. I do have some extra weight around there but it looks much more in this dress. I look very wide from the front. The material is great on this dress. So stretchy and breathes well. It’s absolutely comfortable to wear. If you don’t have curves then this dress is perfect for you. I needed a little assistance getting the zipper up. You can do it alone but with some struggle. It’s a nice dress.

No wrinkles, conservative fit and lasting material makes this the perfect work dress in my opinion!

Love this dress! I purchased it in the small and it fits perfectly. My pictures show it more of a lighter blue but it's a true NAVY color. If it had pockets it'd be perfect! Definitely worth it. For reference, I'm 5' 7 and 120 lbs. It fits just above the knee.

This dress is really cute and very comfortable. The length of it goes to just below my knee cap. I am 5'3" 130lbs and wear a 34D. Normally I wear a 6 in pants and s/m in tops. The ruffles are in all the right places and really make the dress. I wore it a few times to work and every time I get a ton of compliments and it makes me feel great!
