Amazing story and artwork
A must have for every Wolverine fan. What a trippy carnival ride! This was a great reprint. The colors pop off the page as it's printed on that shiny paper. A legendary and classic storyline!

Interesting Logan back story.
I thought this was a good series, short, a little scary and interesting to see Wolverine become something more than an animal who crawled around with the wolves at the start of his life and literally yell his humanity to someone of superior intellect who saw him as nothing but a programmable monster.I think this speaks volumes to people in the world today, how we are so pushed to be specific things by the 'superior intellect' ones who know what's best, and there we are, constantly rebelling, fighting, demanding our humanity be seen and respected for what it is, regardless of who we are or where we came from. Also I found it strange that Cornelius was (what appeared to be) killed, but yet returns in the Death of Wolverine to totally go all "OH YA?!" towards Logan.

Any wolverine fan should have this .
Any wolverine fans , this is a must read . I thought I knew this story over and over and nope, this is the version that truly brought the origin story of weapon X . Barry Windsor Smith, is such a unique and talented artist.

Spectacular art, superb writing
This is a stunning book and the unique combination of art and story telling makes it not just a fantastic comic but a guide to what the medium can do. Enjoy.

Another origin version
In the Marvel Universe there are usually one or two origins for their top level characters. This is the origin story of Wolverine brought forward into the current era forgetting that he has been in the X men since the 80's . Even then the origin of his adamatium skeleton and claws was based on an unknown military experiment but it was never really explored in detail. The original Wolverine was a tough guy who smoked drank and called everyone " bub" but wasn't the feral creature he is in this series. I'm more of an old school comic guy and this new jumping back and forth convoluted story telling and darker art style doesn't do a whole lot for me. This was my first Kindle comic experience and I liked getting the entire series in one package.

BWS is the ticket for fun and travel.
When I was a young lad I can still recall discovering the incredible line work Barry Windsor Smith did on the covers of the X-Men , New Mutants , The Avengers , Conan Saga , Machine Man and Archer & Armstrong just to name a few books off the top of my head. An outstanding artist and storyteller. When the WEAPON -X story came out I just had to get it. The colors fell off the pages and into my eyes wanting more. They tried using some of the look in the X-Men & Wolverine movies . I give it 5 stars. Buy one today for a gift.

Blast from the past!!
Fantastic read I followed and collected this series years ago when it was in comic form so I’m really happy to have it in a collected edition. Art is great by Barry fits the story and tone like a glove.
