I totally bl👀dy loved it!!Rockstars are my most favourite trope ever, and in DARE, Author SL Scott absolutely nailed it. DARE was everything that made for a typical rocker, gorgeously sexy, devastatingly handsome with a voice that stripped panties, and he made the most of the easy pickings.What I love about romance is that when it came to meeting ‘the one’, DARE turned his back on his previous habits and focussed completely on the woman who would be his. I also loved the whole kismet thing, almost like their love had begun so many years before so that in essence it wasn’t a whirlwind romance, but one that had been budding forever, just waiting for the right time to blossom. The connection was deep and the chemistry simply sizzled.Not only does DARE encompass a bad-boy-rockstar, we also have opposites attract, interfering bandmates, manipulative parentals and a cheating ex-boyfriend who just won’t get the hell out. Such a great read and so much going on to maintain high interest. Highly recommended 5-Rock-Star-Reading 🎸❤️✰

Serendipity, coincidence, fate, or destiny. However you sum it up, Dare Marquis and Weatherly Beck were meant to be! They were born for each other and spent their lives just waiting to see each other again someday. I literally got chills and goose bumps as I read this story and little by little, tidbits were revealed into the beginnings of the characters and I couldn’t wait till they both realized what I already knew—sometimes life lays out a plan for us and we are helpless to fight against it.S.L. Scott has written another beautiful romance with all the feels and emotions I experienced in A Star Is Born. That feeling of connecting with someone’s soul, never wanting to part, dreading the minutes you are away from each other, and knowing deep down inside that some force of nature bigger than the both of you has a hand in your future. Beauty attracts the eye, but the soul captures the heart.I loved the way Dare and Pepper took their time and let their relationship grow, took the time to get to know each other, and just took time with each other. It helped build their connection; build the anticipation of their relationship going to the next level. I couldn’t help but feel the electricity, the chemistry, the all-consuming love they had for each other. Their bubble for two was a special place where their bond grew, and it is what held them together when reality reared its ugly head.The whole cast of characters in this story lend a hand in making this a great new world for the author to build upon. I look forward to many more romances to come featuring members of The Heroes. Each one will have their own dynamic and epic story to be told, but hopefully, Romeo and Stascia are up first 😊Dare is romance at its best. It made be remember falling in love, never wanting the night to end, dancing till last call, long drives just to talk and spend time together, and skinny dipping at the local quarry. All the things I loved about my youth are brought to the pages. Dare and Pepper will reside in my head and in my heart for many moons to come. They are what romance is all about. Dare may not think he does relationships well, but I beg to differ—he does everything right! From wildflower bouquets to yellow ribbons and perfect picnics, this girl could not help swooning and donning her googly starstruck eyes.

Love the romance and the main characters. The story was different and satisfying to read . lots of fun. It would have been great to see them end as a band with their dreams coming true.

Great story of opposites attract no matter where you come from. I love the storyline here. Date is a great man no matter his reputation or stereotypical occupation. Pepper is proof that not all the rich are spoiled egotistical brats. Great writing which makes you fall in love with these two as they find their love of each other.

She is controlled by her family and is miss treated by her friends and boyfriend. After finding her boyfriend cheating on her she finds herself at a dive bar with a live band. When she met Dare she can't get him off her mind. And he keeps hoping to see her again.

While I enjoyed this story, I have to admit that the first half of this book is a bit repetitive, we were consistently going over Dare's thoughts and feelings as well as Weatherly's and it felt a little mundane because it was the same dialogue just sprinkled with different words. By the second half, the actual story picks up the pace and we get to see the dynamics at play and for me, it was worth the slow start. I am somewhat of a sucker for the "right side of the tracks vs the wrong side" because I always wonder about the privileged people and their attitudes as well as the underprivileged. It was no surprise that Weatherly would be down to earth and accepting of others circumstances but what was surprising was Dare's reaction/response, I figured he'd have an even bigger chip on his shoulder. And I really did enjoy the revelation about the house, yellow ribbons and the girl who asked too many questions. I'm looking forward to the next book.

A rock star romance not to be missed, Dare by S.L. Scott totally blew me away, pulled my heartstrings and left me smiling like a swooning teenager.What more could a girl want than a lead singer and guitarist? To Weatherly Beck that would be a sexy as sin, tattooed Hero with a killer smile and voice that commands a room.When life blows up for Weatherly, she finds herself at a bar not normally on her radar. So the last thing she expects is to have said rock star squeeze his way in her head and have her wanting more.Weatherly and Dare have an undeniably strong pull neither can resist; will a one-night stand be enough, will this be the beginning they didn't see coming or will fate have different plans?I was so captivated by this novel, I absolutely loved and soaked up all the emotions as they hit me at full speed.I felt true depth to the these words which led me fall for the characters even more.A recommended read for sure.

I really enjoyed the story and characters and I loved bring Johnny outlaw and the crow brothers in to it it was awesome the twist was a refreshing story line. I loves it so much

I really enjoy the rock star genre and although this author was new to me I managed to read quite a few of her books.Dare is the story of an up and coming rocker Dare Marquis and Weatherly Beck a newly graduated Lawyer from the right side of town.When Dare (aka Rob) is 11 years old he and his mother stop to admire the architecture of a home when a bright little 9 year old girl chats to them. Rob immediately nicknames her Pepper and 14 years later fate brings them together again.In this story Dare is a struggling musician and Weatherly who comes from a very wealthy and influential family is trying to cut her ties with pretentious and entitled people in her life, and her controlling father.I really enjoyed the development of their relationship and each learning what priorities are in life. Good read👍

Absolutely one of the best books I have read, wonderful characters heartfelt emotions, Dare & Weatherly were aCouple with whom the reader could relate, their story was a joy to read & kept me turning pages into the wee hours ofThe morning. I loved the strength of their Love for each other even through adversity & unlawful restrictions they finallyFound the happiness they both deserved. I definitely highly recommend this book. Another Excellent book by S L Scott. ❤️❤️❤️

One thing SL Scott knows how to do is bring us hot swooning rockstars that capture your heart!So many of her words are highlighted when I read her stories, and Dare is no different, they are pure magic and make my heart melt. I could be here all day quoting them ....Being honest, it did take me some getting into, its a whirlwind romance and it moves fast and I was just waiting for something to happen, everything was a little rosy until it wasn’t....But in true Suzie style, it was too good to be true and the story took a turn, causing so many mixed emotions, hurt and especially anger and at one point I was left a blubbering mess!The story isn’t only about the journey of Dare and Weatherley’s love and relationship but also a journey of themselves and the change in them not only created by each other but looking at their life events, choosing decisions from their heart, learning to stand up and make changes !A powerful love story that will melt your heart!

I loved the Crowe brothers so this one was a no brainier. Couldn’t put it down and read in one sitting. Looking forward to seeing more of dare and Weaverly. Highly recommend.
