I find it more convenient to *ahem* collect a sample at home and then take it to the lab that day. These arrive in a sealed package, and the lids are securely sealed to the cup until you take the lid off. Keep the lid on until you are ready to use the cup and you will feel assured you are using a sterile cup.

Needed this to take urine samples to my vet for my dog a few times and they're nice sturdy cups that do not leak. Easy to write on the label too. The quality is just like a doctor's office uses, if not better.

I bought these for their intended purpose.. but since it came in a set of 3 I decided to try the spares out for different purposes. I figured if they were leak proof enough to serve as specimen containers I should be able to store some of my 1 inch gulp minnows with the gulp liquid in them. If you've ever fished and used Gulp you know that over time the containers that they come in leak and stinks up your entire setup... so far these things have been bulletproof. I just put them in a jar and toss my bag around. No leaks 6 months in.

I needed to get a sample to the lab but since I’m home bound would need to get a ride or have someone pick up from the lab for free, as well as deliver sample, these did the trick, the only thing missing was chamomile wipes that I ordered separately. They should sell kits!I had to pay for what is usually free but it saved a trip. The other downside is waiting for close to a week which could have been bad news.
