Motion Pro 08-0213 Swing arm Bearing Tool

Worked great on my old 950 Adventure swingarm bearings. It appears to be very adaptable to any bearing situation especially if you get creative with sockets. Great inexpensive tool!

Worked great as a removal and installation tool. You’ll need a piece of pipe or an old hole saw for cup if you use it as a removal tool. Using a mic on install to recess the bearings for the seal was very helpful.

I tried to post this as a question and then answer it, but it won't let me answer it, and it won't let me answer it in the question. To the person who answered "universal", you're wrong. It may work with 250/450 JDM dirt bikes, but it doesn't fit the Honda CRF 150R or RB of any year. I know because I bought it based on reviews and answers, and I ended up having to use a socket and my hydraulic press to replace the swingarm bearings when this tool arrived. I returned it.Five stars though because as always, Motion Pro makes high quality tools, that work great. This was definitely high quality, ready to go out of the box should it have fit. Be sure to check your diameter/fitment before ordering. I do wish Motion Pro sold individual drivers, but the only other option is the $175ish full kit with all of their drivers.

I was installing bearings and seals in a 2018 KTM 125SX and this tool worked perfectly on the swingarm and the Pro Link suspension linkages.Excellent tool and worth every cent

There are questions and answers on this Amazon review saying you can't remove bearings or its useless removing bearings. This is is 100% hog wash.I had a really roached and frozen set of front needle bearings In a swing arm and got tired of hammering and trying to cut them out. I don't have a press and a machine shop would cost much more than this tool.All you need is a big socket like a 36mm or even a short piece of pipe, etc anything that will fit over the swing arm end to allow the bearing to fall through.Grab your electric or whatever impact and they pop right out seals and all in about 10 seconds a side like butter. 10/10 would recommend.New bearings, put them in the freezer for a few days and heat up the swing arm with a hear gun or torch. If they don't fall right in then simply use the took to adjust them. Great tool and worth every penny.

Nice tool for swingarm and linkage bearings. The adapters fit perfect (Japanese) style bike I am working on(99rm 125). I would recommend for sure to others.
