I was really surprised at how awesome this product is especially for what you’re paying. It’s not too expensive at all but does do what you would expect a much pricier product to do. The bulb is bright but not too much. It works lovely and the ambient lights you can have with the use of the app make this product a must have for any smart home enthusiast.You do need to install the app on your phone in order control the light but it’s very simple and does not take up too much space on your phone. It’s also imperative to ensure that your WiFi connection connects at a 2.4GHz frequency in order for the bulb to work and connect to your phone. This is simply achieved by switching your router on and off whilst connecting the smart bulb to the app.I personally love the fact that I can control the light bulb in another room and dim or change the colour of the light without actually having to be in the room. It’s clever and fun as well as convenient, especially since I have a newborn baby and sometimes it’s nice not having to physically walk in the room to switch lights on and off.The app can be downloaded on both android and iOS devices as I have tried both on my Apple phone and my husband’s Samsung.It’s a fantastic bit of tech if you want the smart home experience. Definitely recommend.

This type of smart lightbulb has been something I have been wanting to try out for many years and I finally cracked and made this purchase. It arrived very quickly and without issue, and considering I had no experience in setting one of these bulbs up I found the method to connect the bulb to the app very simple and easy to understand. Once all set up the bulb has 3 main features I swap between; white mode which is customisable to create whatever type of "normal" lighting you want e.g. a standard whiter light or a warmer yellow light. Colour mode which is a colour wheel that updates in real time to whatever colour you desire and both the white and colour modes allow for adjusting the saturation and brightness of the light in real time. There is also the scene mode which is a selection of options that have interesting presets, e.g. there are options for an automatically changing colour mode which recreates a disco, and others that are meant for ideal situations such as a mode to make the ideal light for reading. There is also a schedule mode but admittedly I have not yet tried that but I can imagine that others can vouch for that. There is also the option to have all smart bulbs connected to an Alexa and control them via that, unfortunately I do not own an Alexa and so I cannot comment on that functionality. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and I look forward to owning more of these bulbs and smart devices, just being able to adjust the ambience of a room without having to get up or mess around with various lamps makes this well worth it.

It's a really cool product, programmable scenes as well as full HST and CCT. It was a little tricky to set up but the user manual is fairly well made and simple to follow although I did spend a good while trying to make it work. The light won't work on 5ghz WiFi so you must turn this off and use 2.5 only, so if you don't have access to your router or aren't great with tech this probably isn't the right product for you - but definitely great value for money.

Omg. So, I've been itching to update the lights in my house to smart bulbs but as I'm currently on a very tight budget I've done nothing about it. But at just over 20 for a two-pack it was definitely too good an opportunity to miss. The instructions have a QR code on the front that links you to the app, which is how you set up the lights, they're nice and easy to follow.You have different setting options once you're up and running from a colour wheel option and white settings, along with different preset 'scenes', and you can also create your own. You can also rename each bulb - for me I just gave them room labels. You can also adjust brightness/saturation in the settings, and also switch the lights on or off either manually or by setting a schedule.You're also able to connect to either Alexa or Google home without a hub - mine is currently bound to my Echo dot - even more convenience!To be blunt, I don't think I have a bad thing to say about them, and only one caveat - they only connect to 2.4Ghz WiFi, so if you're set on using 5 you may have to rethink things... But other than that, they are awesome, and so simple to use that my toddler has already figured them out..🤣

Spent 2 hours just trying to get the device to connect to my wi-fi, and it still doesn't even work. unlike literally any other device I've used this one has no capability of Bluetooth setup. Also only allows connection on a 2.4mhz frequency. Yep, they force you to downgrade your wireless connection because they haven't made the light bulb compatible with the 5mhz.I've changed all my wi-fi settings, and done every single step in the troubleshooting including chaning my encryption key type in my router, disabling mac address filters etc. All of this just to get a light bulb to work because they have designed the product so poorly. How can your average person fit this light bulb without understanding of a network? How would they find their router IP considering you didn't even give any info on what commands to run on the computer.Absolute terrible terrible product in terms of setting it up. Hopefully within the next few hours I'll be able to get it to actually work. Do your self a favour and buy a smart bulb that isn't absolutely incompatible with any modern router.

The app made installing this very easy, and then I was soon able to link it up with my google home. The integration works really well so I can now voice control my light when I would like to. Also the app that you use to control it has a good amount of options and makes it very easy to control the light to how you would like it. I was surprised by the amount of choice available, you have full control over pretty much any colour you would like, and also the amount of brightness, so you can have it as a low light, or much brighter. I am very happy with the quality of this product and it integrates really well.
