TRUSOX Mid-Calf Crew Cushion Soccer Socks (Pair)

I am 6ft tall and 220 lbs 41 year old male. I play basketball twice a week and Soccer in a league for the past 10 years. For basketball these are great and grip the basketball shoe nicely. My feat do not overly sweat when comparing them to more cushioned Under Armour or Jordan Basketball socks. I also do not get blisters by my big toe or little toe like I used too. I tried them for soccer for the first time yesterday. They worked great until I noticed towards the end of the second half the back of my heal was starting to hurt. I thought I got some of the artificial grass rubber dirt in between my sock and shoe but then they both started to hurt and burn towards the end of the game. When I took my shoes and socks off at the end of the game I had a pair of nasty open blisters on both of my feet on the back heel. I have never had a sock cause me injury. I use the Puma EvoPower Vigor 1 FG Soccer Cleat and they are the most comfortable soccer shoes I have ever owned. I played in them the prior week with my standard Adidas Soccer Socks and did not have any issues. I use Adidas Crazy Explosive Low Basketball shoes. My shoe size is 11.5 and I have flat feet. I hope this review helps you decide. I think for $40 dollars for a pair of socks they should not cause you injury. If they removed the back rubber grips from the heel area of the sock this would solve the problem. The gray rubber grips are both inside the sock and outside and I have washed these four times so far and they have not shrunk. Wearing another thin pair of socks is not an option for me and I think for $40 they should re-engineer these to include a layer of fabric protection from the back heel area or eliminate the three rows of back heel grips. Not sure if anyone else has run into this same problem. I am going to keep these socks since I really like them for basketball but I will never wear these for soccer.

Horrible, don’t waste your money. The grips on the socks came off in the first wash. Finding them in my washing machine and all over the house. Not the same as the other Trusox bought from the local soccer store. The picture shows the white sock bought from amazon, the blue sock is the sock bought from the local soccer store (washed many times).

Utter trash. Picture attached. The little insides have clogged my entire washing machine. I washed it on Cold and Delicate. Beyond annoyed with this expensive trash. Will be calling Amazon for a Refund!

At first I thought these socks were a gimmick, and that I wouldn't be able to feel a difference between these and normal socks. Honestly I was convinced that was the case the first few times I wore these socks, that was until I wore a pair of normal socks again. I could feel my feet slipping inside the sock and the sock inside the shoe. I didn't realize how much slippage there was without these Trusox. Just be careful with how these are washed since you can lose some grip pads. I ask my Girlfriend to wash these how she washes her bras.

I bought this sock because i was having blisters on my left foot. The first time I wore it which was last week it was fine but for some reason this week, my left heel just got shredded. I wash it and and air dry. The socks look find. I am very disappointed. Paid $40 to avoid blisters but now I will be suffering for the next few days

I first ordered a pair of large (I wear a 10 size shoe) and got blisters. Ordered a pair of medium and worked well. The sizing really matters and would advise getting a smaller size if you are in between sizes.

Used these frist time for disc golf man they are the best and very nice. It helps you get all your power to throwing no waste power in slipping just alittle bit in your shoes. I also will used these for paintball so I can take off and stop faster.

I thought long and hard about purchasing a pair of these socks for about 3 weeks and decided to take the plunge.First of all, the speed of the delivery: 5*I ordered them on Thursday and they came Saturday morning (match day). Even sent an email to let me know it was on the way along with a tracking number.Performance: 5*I did notice the sock slippage inside the boots was considerably less when wearing them which in turn allowed me to perform quicker turns. Also I've had problems with cold toes this winter and the Trusox seem to provide a similar effect to when wearing thermal socks so that was a nice surprise.Price: 3*Yes, only 3 stars! Only because the socks cost nearly £30 but as I said earlier, I thought for a long time about buying them. I don't know if that's because they pretty much give elite sports men/women these for free as a marketing tool and they need to recuperate the costs from average Joe but even with the low score, I'd still buy another pair due to their performance.Durability: 4*I gave this 4*s even though I've only played one game in them. Being quick footed, you're expected to recieve a few less than savoury challenges from time to time during a match. I chose to pull my team sock as close to the ankle as possible and tape it up so the team sock would take the brunt of any challenge I received.Overall: 5*I honestly don't know how long these socks will last but I do know you won't be disappointed with them. Just make sure your coach doesn't see you cutting up your team socks! Also regarding sizing, I'd advise you take a look on the Trusox website or visit Just Keepers.

I have suffered with blisters from football boots for years. Tried all kinds but nothing worked until I bought these. Work a treat. I first noticed these form seeing the professionals using them. Did some research and gave them a go. Yes they are pricey for a pair of socks but it’s well worth it. If you have issues with blisters and sore feet after playing sports then I would fully recommend these. I literally refuse to play without these on now. You get what you paid for and no more discomfort is priceless to me. Fit true to size and wash well. Trusox are a game changer. You won’t be disappointed. If it’s good enough for some of the best players in the world then what more do you need to say? Amazing

Such good grip inside my boot. Also softer than the average football sock.I wash by hand when not to muddy to make the grip last longer. If they last a whole season I will be sure to add to my review and buy again otherwise they maybe to pricey if they don't last

Many suggest the Trusox are a bit of a fad and rip off - while they're not going to prevent you from ever falling over, or fully protect you from ankle injuries, they do help provide some added stability with nylon pads. Besides the awesome design and looking great, they're a high quality sock, well made and durable. As you'd hope for such a price. They last months, I wear them to the gym and for sprint exercises, the mid-cushion feels lovely on... even though I wear ankle socks underneath them to prevent getting sweat all over them. There's a reason the footballers are wearing them, they look great and do also provide improved performance with extra confidence in fast movements.

These have made such a difference to my son for rugby and football. As they are pricy and he gets through 4-5 pairs a season we tried a cheap “me too” brand. Won’t do that again. Only problem is that all of his club and WackySox are now footless! 😂
