I grow in hydroponics. Growstones were the best media ever but they went out of business. I was broken hearted until I found these. They are identical. Way better than hydroton which is made from strip mined clay these are from recycled glass. Will last forever and are much more porous and dont move around like clay balls.

Love these stones, but sadly they are becoming harder to find. I hope the company continues to make them. perfect size, strong, angular, very light weight, highly porous. I prefer these over the clay balls.

I use this product in my orchid-growing mixes. It is lightweight but hold some water at the same time allowing air to filtrate through the mix. I am exceedingly disappointed that the company has gone out of business and this product will no longer be available.

Really like the product although its a hard pill to swallow for the 50$ price. Only reason I went for it, is because it’s no longer being made. Also, it floats.
