Good general advice. The author made a SERIOUS mistake in downgrading shavette straight razors. He advises away from a straight razor for beginners, which is a good idea. However, he states if you want a straight razor go for a top of the line. Nonsense!. A shavette is a good starter, and I am still using mine since it is MUCH cheaper, and does a VERY GOOD job.

Nice starter. I have been using a double edged razor and cup and brush for years and picked up a couple hints. So I feel it was worth the price.... my skin is smoother and my shave closer with no nicks. All for such a huge savings over disposable shavers.

More "in depth" than I expected. Very good.

Don't waste your money. Even at 5.49 it's not worth it. It's only a few pages long. No illustrations on how to properly hold a straight razor. You'd be better off just watching a couple of you tube videos.

Great introduction and overview of wet shaving. Many small but valuable tips. Highly recommended for anyone starting out or considering to do it.

Yes takes me back to when. I first started shaving. I found my old shaving kit. Had to renew the brush and razor and I am enjoying the experience again after many years.yes it gives you an indepth look at old style shaving. Especially with An open razor
