I wasn't sure if I'd like the felt tip water brush but I heard it was good for working with watercolor pencils. It definitely is perfect for working with watercolor pencils, water soluble graphite, and whatever water soluble mediums that go on your paper dry. The water distribution is just right for blending these types of mediums without completely washing the pigment away, and I think the felt tip really helps to that effect.It is also a very effective tool for scrubbing and lifting watercolors, which I thought was just a brilliant secondary use for this thing.Overall, a really neat tool.

I love how this water brush acts somewhat as a marker which makes watercolor painting not as scary or difficult! Great for detailing or hard edge lines! However you should note that the tip isn’t flexible, this wasn’t a problem for me, but I know it might be for some people.

Hard to fill

I have found the color doesn't carry as well with this brush pen as it does with others, and the water-refill method for this is kind of odd, but I love the stiff tip and the end result after learning how to use it by trial and error

These did not work as expected. I was hoping that they would work as markers would, since the tips resemble brush markers. I have tried a few experiments. I will one more before I give up.

Good for working withwater soluble pencils

Mi serviva un pennello adatto a dipingere i particolari minuscoli delle mie illustrazioni. Con quelli a setole, che fossero naturali o sintetiche, pennelli normali o a serbatoio, non mi risultava sempre facile. Così ho voluto provare un pennello che avesse la punta di feltro come questo. E devo dire che per le mie esigenze è perfetto! Trovo anche comodissimo il sistema di aspirazione a siringa. Se il feltro della punta e il resto dureranno nel tempo, per me si sarà trattato di un buon acquisto. Certo è molto costoso per l'oggetto che in realtà è, e vedo che adesso hanno aumentato il prezzo di 1,50 £ (io l'ho pagato 9,45 £ due giorni fa e adesso costa 10,95 £) quindi spero proprio che potrà accompagnarmi per molte, moltissime illustrazioni a venire. Un consiglio personale: per lavare la punta tra un colore e l'altro, mi pare più comodo immergerla in acqua e poi tamponarla con delicatezza su un pezzo di carta assorbente tipo scottex, invece di premere e premere il pulsante per far fluire l'acqua del contenuto; infatti essendo non a setole ma a feltro, l'acqua non esce gocciolando come nei pennelli a setole, dunque lavarlo con l'acqua interna è un'operazione più lunga e indaginosa. Auguro a tutti tanta creatività, ispirazione, buonumore e gioia!

Angefangen habe ich wie wohl alle mit dem einfachen Set von Pentel. Das finde ich auch nach wie vor nicht schlecht. Irgendwann entdeckte ich durch ein Youtube-Video dann die Wasserpinsel von Caran d'Ache und hab sie mir bestellt. Und ich bin absolut begeistert. Die Wassermenge lässt sich perfekt steuern und irgendwie kommt immer genau die richtige Menge raus. Nie zuviel oder zu wenig. Am liebsten habe ich diesen hier, weil der eine Filzstiftspitze hat. Damit kann man sehr genau und mit sehr wenig Flüssigkeit arbeiten. Perfekt für Inktense oder Neocolor 2. Anbei ein Bild aus dem Buch  Zauberhafte Regale zum Ausmalen: Ausmalbuch für Erwachsene , das ich mi mit  Caran d 'Ache Neocolor II Kreiden (40 Stück)  und diesem Pinsel ausgemalt habe. Auf Youtube ist auch ein Video von mir (4seg9LUxGtA), in dem man das Arbeiten mit dem Pinsel gut sieht. Pros: The body of brush made from the hard plastic. The tip is hard like a marker felt tip. There is the large push button in the center of the brush for pushing the water when you need. The unique feature is when you fill the water, you just pull the piston which is look like syringe for a couple of times to fill it completely full. It is easy to clean the tip, just push the water a bit and dap it with paper towel. It is good for blending with watercolor pencils.Cons: The package is very poor (shown in the picture). The brush came in cheap gift wrapping paper. I feel it doesn't look very good when compared with the price of this brush. It is quite expensive (17.30 $) than the other competitors. It isn't good for using with wet paint, can't treat like the normal brush.Final thoughts: This is a great product and it is my favorite brush. It's easy to use, fill and control the water. The tip is really good and durable. The quality is excellent! I really like it. Highly recommended.

Je m'en sers pour estomper mes coloriages mystères que je fais aux crayons de couleur. Je met de l'essence minérale sans odeur dans le réservoir, et le résultat est vraiment parfait. Je cherchais une alternative plus écologique à l'utilisation des cotons-tiges, et c'en est une très bonne.La pointe est assez résistante et permet un résultat précis.À voir si elle reste résistante sur le long terme ; mais pour le moment j'en suis satisfaite ! :)Il est très facile à remplir, ce qui est un point important. On tire le bout comme on le fait avec une seringue.Pour nettoyer la pointe, je fais couler une à deux gouttes en appuyant sur la partie prévue pour, puis je frotte la pointe sur un chiffon afin qu'il n'y ait plus de résidu de couleur.Je ne sais pas si je le nettoie mal ou si c'est normal, mais il reste toujours de la couleur au bout de la pointe, mais ça ne gêne en rien à l'utilisation.
