Bought to replace our old florescent shop lights. These are very very bright and extremely cool light.

Lights are easy to install. Had a problem with one of the power cords and the company is sending me a new one.

My husband installed these lights in the shed that he built this year. They were very easy for him to install. He will be using the shed as a workshop so he appreciated how bright they are.

So far I'm very satisfied with these fixtures. The illumination angle (I believe is 170 degrees) Is enough to wash the walls in light from 4' away. I replaced fluorescent (52 - 48" tubes in all) for a nearly 50% reduction in wattage with more light. The light is even and, for my installation, almost Shadow free. Installation was easy. I snapped a chalk line to keep all of the hangers aligned and simply snapped the fixture into place. The instruction card (yes, just one little card) cautions against daisy-chaining more than 4 fixtures. I ordered the optional 24" connectors so I could stretch the lighting out a bit. Overall, very satisfied. I'll reserve commenting on the longevity. I run these 8 - 1- hours a day, 7 days a week. I'll amend my review if I begin to see failures. One little thing is bugging me. Once in a while I 'think' I catch a flicker from one or two fixtures. Likely more imagination that fact as I have yet to see it while I am looking at the light. Seems it only happens when my back is turned. Like I said, not sure it is even happening, but I'll come back here to report if I can ever confirm it.

I like these lights, but they do have their problems. I’ve purchase them 3 times due to their brightness, clean appearance, and cost factor. The first purchase about 4 years ago was for my workshop 20x40. Installed two rows of 4, each row being 32’ long. The good: They look great, two seamless bright straight lines. The bad: After 6 months I noticed the light on the end no longer came on. Close inspection revealed spaces between the lights causing connected lights to separate on their own. This was caused by the expansion and contraction of aluminum body/heat sink. So butt connecting together I don’t recommend (see pictures of next install correcting this problem), also the wires are very thin (maybe 22GA) the power cord gets hot carrying the amperage of all four lights. When trying to use a three prong grounded outlet, the breaker trips. The only way the light circuit would stop tripping the breaker was to use a two prong non grounded plug. My second install two years ago was my garage 20x32. I installed 3 rows of two lights. I installed 3 outlets in ceiling. Each outlet provided power for two lights. Each light has its own plug. No wires/plugs to overheat. Other things: -check light before install, 10% of new bulbs received don’t work. If initially good they last. -one bulb now has three bad LEDs after three years of use. -when installing, leave a 1/16th” space between hanger clip and ceiling. Most ceilings are not flat. A slightly loose hanger will be better for install and heat dissipation. My third install will be my daughter’s garage. Will add three outlets to assure a dedicated receptacle for every light, assuring the safest and least problematic circuit.

Just finished building a new 3 car garage. I was looking for high tech LED lighting to illuminate the garage. Just to give some idea of how bright these are I connected one 8 foot section and placed it across 2 saw horses (see picture). When it got dark I was blown away how much light one strip creates. My garage is located in northern Wisconsin so only time will tell how durable the lights are during the cold winters. So far at 12F they turned on without any hesitation. I have a total of 7 strips installed on the lower level and 2 strips on the second level. The electrical pigtail wires you get are a bit of a challenge to connect to Romex, so that you can connect to a standard electrical junction box. You will need to be creative to make a neat installation. All in all I am totally satisfied with the lights. Update: Feb 2021 a few weeks ago it was -33F and the lights turned on as expected!!

I love these lights. My shop is like daylight with them. I did have a problem with a few of the wires and switches but the customer service was outstanding and replacements where quickly sent. I highly recommend!!

One star review. Here's why. They work fine. The installation isn't that hard. But, they give you four power cords for 10 lights. That is the reason for the one star review. Inexcusable. I bought 10 lights and I want to use all of them. They give you a few 18 inch patch cords to string them together. Which means you have to put them all in one part of your ceiling and you can't spread them out. Ridiculous. I've got a bunch of these installed and the only option is to take them down undo all the work I did put them in a box and ship them back because there is no customer service. It doesn't exist. They're just black label China products. Do not buy these unless you love frustration.
