Great Spice for Pork but----
It came early but the spice is either old or the bottom of the batch. All extremely ground up which normally it is in a flake consistency. Does not taste right.

Worst rub I've ever used.
I like to try new seasonings/rubs. Have a cabinet full of them and while some are great - I've had plenty of seasonings that were just ok, but at least edible. This rub made the ribs taste gross. We threw them and the rest of the jar out.

Very salty product.
Used this product on two racks of pork back ribs. In fairness, I also mixed in a small amount of dry mustard and cut in a quarter cup of brown sugar, which the mix does not include. I "liberally" shook and rubbed in the spice onto the ribs and let them rest for half an hour, then smoked for four hours. Added a barbecue sauce and finished, then we tried them. My girlfriend noticed the saltiness immediately and I also thought there was too much salt. Unfortunately, the ribs, although cooked perfectly, were not as good as when I have used other rubs. Because this mix does not have any sugar and is predominantly salt, I can't recommend it except as a light sprinkle for grilling and roasts. Not recommended as a rib rub.
