Away in My Airplane (Margaret Wise Brown Classics)

This is a beautiful book! The pictures are big and nicely done, the words are simple, the paper on the pages is high quality! My grandson just loves this book and is constantly saying when wenSkype "airplane book, Gigi!" Best book ever - every two year old (or a little younger or older) needs this book! I bought one for his house and one for my house so I can read it to him on Skype. I couldn't believe how big it was and hardcover for the price of many paperbacks that are smaller with subpar art work. The artwork is just outstanding.

Bought this for my nephew for Christmas because he lives airplanes. So thankful I got a chance to read it to him before we left. Cute book, vivid colors with beautiful illustrations

Purchased the book for airplane themed baby shower and it was the perfect gift. Great for everyone to sign at the shower and use as a keepsake. The illustrations are adorable, however the book was shipped in a plastic envelope with no bubble wrap or cardboard and Arrived DAMAGED. I had to glue the spine because it was torn like it was dropped. A padded envelope would have prevented this. The book is five stars but the shipment packaging disappointing.

I bought this for a baby shower, it was warmly and enthusiastically received. Outstanding illustrations and a light hearted adventurous basic story line.

I bought this to bring on on a trip I was taking with my 2yr old granddaughter & thought it would be fun to read while we were on the airplane. I love Margaret Wise Brown's books & this one is cute though the the prose is very simple & very repetitive. I did find it was too short a story to keep my grand-daughter busy for very long on the plane, but now, after the trip, she asks to have it read to her a lot when she's visiting me & it does keep her attention.The illustrations give you that very "warm & fuzzy" feeling!

I bought this book to use as a guest book for my son's 1st birthday. Daddy is in aviation, and my son loves planes so we did a "How Time Flies" theme, and I wanted him to have a keepsake from it. Everyone loved the idea, and the book is adorable.

This is the second time we ate purchasing this book. The first one is missing pages from my son ripping them out. But this is a bed time favorite of ours. My son loves it so much he almost has it memorized. He loves pointing things out in the pictures and identifying the animals. I would purchase it for a third time if I had to. Great book.
