One of the best cars Tamiya made in 2006! Re Released.
I had this car in 2006 and raced it in club races. Very easy to put together and it comes with full bearings except the steering. I decided to buy it again after I heard it got re released.

This is more than a skill 1 build but it is not too advance that a person should not try it. It took my about one day to build it and another to paint the body. The car performs well with its brushed set-up but I have run into a few challenges when trying to install a brushless motor (it seems like it will only accept a certain style of brushless motor). Either way, the car performs and handles great when assembled. I would recommend it for others.

You can rely on Tamiya quality
well made kit with good instructions and fun to assemble. there are a lot of mods that could be done later but this is a good higher end entry level racer. It is a step up from the Tamiya car I had 30 years ago which raced so hard that in the end every part of it I remade on a Bridgeport mill. this being 4WD is even better. Price with post from Amazon was better than most other radio control model suppliers, especially if you live in New Zealand where no body thinks exists.

Slightly complicated but fun build and a good performance racer.
Love the build and it performs. The only thing...have some RTV or something removable sealant type to seal the external motor gear housing as I have had some sand and particle inclusions. My niece adores it.

Received but not built yet. Just happy some kits still available!
Even though I have yet to build the car in just glad to receive it. I'm obtaining as many aluminum parts as possible before starting my build. RTR have taken over the industry but I'm old school and enjoy touching absolution every piece of the car and knowing what goes into it. I'm also going to be doing this build with my daughter to teach jet about patience and following instructions.
