While they looked good initially and I was extremely happy directly after insulation two weeks later and one rain storm that I went through destroyed my entire opinion of them. while the box was sitting under my seat next to my battery it got wet and malfunction the entire system it is not waterproof. the adhesive while I cleaned the hell out of the parts that were going to be stacking including rubbing them down with rubbing alcohol to ensure there was no Oil or debris after a week they started un-sticking and falling. one of them fell and got caught in the back tire ripping it off and causing me to spend unneeded down time on the side of the road clearing out the wires to ensure they will not cause any further problems. This could be solved with a little super glue. The box wrapped in a plastic bag might prevent the malfunctioning of the remote to unit system

I put these lights on my bike a month ago. The tape on them isn't very sticky so I added my own. Used gorilla double sided tape. Sticks much better. The lights are nice and bright. The colors are nice. Wire leads were ok for reaching all around engine and above the rear wheel of my roadking. I had to use extensions to reach the forks. Everything was working great till this weekend. Then is quit. Blew a fuse. I took it apart and checked connections. I didn't see anything wrong. No bare wires or anything. I put a new fuse in it and turned it on. It seemed to work normally for a minute and then the lights went dead and haven't worked since. And the little control box smells like burnt electronics. I have yet to tear it apart but I believe it's cooked.

Well, honest review, they got the job done. A few of the strips top layer are hard, like it they sitting in the sun for a while. 2 cables fell off, I was able to re-solder from the other end since contacts ripped off. strips are definitely short, combined 3 to do the bottom of each side. Had to open the remote, battery wasn’t making good contact. It does not have a “fade” from color to color. Do not buy if you don’t know how to solder. I did Zip-tie them don’t want to trust the adhesive, but it suck easily. I do LOVE the brake feature when you brake they all turn red, but you have to know your wiring. I went straight to my brake light relay on my 02 Yamaha v-Star. Job took about 4-5 hours.

Check your lights make sure they all work before installing. I checked mine installed them had 2 strands not work. The seller told me to return the whole thing which I already had on my bike 🏍. So I now have 2 that doesn’t work because I wasn’t taking them off the bike after installing them.

Wiring harness burnt up the 1st time I turned it on. (Yes it was wired correctly) I have a different (more expensive) brand led light kit for my other motorcycle & it's been working great for 2 years now. Also 2 of the 12 strips the backing for the double sided tape didn't stick to so couldn't use on my bike.. Guess this is 1 of those lessons don't cheap out, you get what you pay for.

this is my second set. I bought it with the hope that between the two I could get one functioning set. 1st box had 2 strips that 2 colors wouldn't work and then several days of riding and two more had the wires come apart I can use the second set to replace the defective ones and the ones that came apart. Hopefully that will be the end of the problems.

The good- The work and are bright.The bad-The remote is a bit touchy.One of the strips was broken. I could fix it with a soldering iron, but why should I fix something that should be new. Contacted the seller immediately, was supposed to have a replacement strip sent. It's been almost two months later and nothing.

Must have gotten a bad box, because as I was holding the lights and removing the plastic paper from the adhesive the light strip bent and broke. It was as though the lights were old and dry rotted. Sadly didn’t not get to use three of the strips of lights because they broke while I was trying to put them on my moped. I’ve bought other brands which were much more flexible and never broke during installation. It’s really too bad because otherwise they are nice lights with cool features and the remote worked well for the lights that didn’t break.
