The panel and plug needs to be outside so best use silicone to weather proof it.
I have simular solar security light so knew what to expect. The outside panel is not as described in the instructions as it does not have a switch at the back. The cable to the panel is very short so the plug to the inside light will also be outside. The hole inside to out needs to be large to get the socket through. Half inch at least, bigger than most drills which on go to 10mm.. Do not push the panel onto its stand until the stand is mounted. The spigot was only held to the panel by two very short screws and parts company with the panel if pulled out or twisted. A ball and socket on panel to stand would be much better mine has to be fitted upside down to get the best angle to the sun.

Great solar charged light.
Got this in our shed and it works really well. Bright and charges well. The cable length from the solar panel is decent too. Very pleased.

Smaller than expected
The size is misleading in the photos. I expected it to be a bit bigger than it was. The solar panel is probably bigger than the actual light.However, it does light the shed up at night so it does the job it was intended for.

Didn't work
Unfortunately this product didn't work so I had to return it. No hassle and excellent communication from the seller... sometimes these things just happen for no reason, the item looked good and felt good quality

Buy cheap buy twice ... No three times
First one lasted a week before not turning on at all via the remote or pull string. Left to charge for 3 days still nothing. Orderd a replacement at the weekend and this one won't even power on after being on charge for 2 1/2 days. Instructions refer to switch at the back of solar panel which there isn't one. Fairly disappointing. One faulty one I can accept but two is rather poor. Especially as I now have to fill the holes in the freshly painted wall and take yet another trip to post office during lock down to send back.

Stopped working after less than 2 months.
Bought item on 17th August and it arrived promptly. All set up and worked very well until 14th September when it started to flicker on and off like it was having it's on private disco and has now decided to completely stop working.Trying to get a full refund on item now as had to source a new light elsewhere.

So bright
Like how bright they are but disappointed they are small pleased I ordered two for the gazebo. Overall pleased
