The lady of the house likes them. They are not as pretty as she wanted but they do the job, that is, they filter the late afternoon sunshine.

3 stars for use on in-shower window. 4 stars if using on regular bathroom windows. I purchased these to 1) provide privacy with the glass block window inside my shower and 2) protect the crumbling grout on the glass block until I can get rid of this poorly placed window. For #1, they are light filtering so they do allow light in. I thought it was not enough privacy so I overlap the 2 darkest colored curtains I could find. This provides adequate privacy, but forces the volume of curtain to stick out into the shower space. For #2, I would not consider them waterproof. The water beads at first so it would probably be fine just on a bathroom window that gets occasionally splashed. However, the water soaks through when they are basically in the shower with you. They get totally wet. An unintended consequence is that the grout I’m trying to protect gets wet from steam and dampness created behind the curtains. I have to open the curtains to let the window air dry after a shower. 1 week with the curtains and most of the top layer of grout has crumbled. So they are not ideal for this purpose.

I only needed to hang one of the curtain panels to cover my small bathroom window. I’m happy with how it looks. It keeps shower spray off the window sill hopefully preventing mold.

Still had to leave the vertical blinds up. Thin material too sheer for my purpose.
