Once you get past the fact that Kevin Dubrow is gone and give this a chance, it is really great rock and roll. I enjoyed Road Rage and think this builds upon those strengths. Glad Frankie has carried on with Quiet Riot. God bless him in his fight against pancreatic cancer. All fans of 80's hard rock should buy this to show their support for a true hero of that scene.

Hollywood Cowboys marks the end of an era for Quiet Riot. Singer James Durbin quit just before its release and drummer Frankie Banalli has since passed away. Along with Alex Grossi (guitar ) and Chuck Wright (bass ) they have crafted a good,but not great addition to the Quiet Riot catalogue. The production is ok,the performances are great,but the songs just are not as memorable as what they've recorded in the past. Jacon Bunton's lyrics are fair and James Durbins are slightly better. Frankie,along with his other co-composers ,came up with music that services the lyrics,but not much more.

Just got done playing this over again and have to say I really like the stripped back sound and Frankie's vintage sounding drum work...he always plays with grooves like Bonham love his style it makes the music along with the guitars nice and punchy and the songs are memorable and rock hard...Durbin does a great job on vocals here...really like this one.

It's a fun album. They aren't afraid to try new things and they pull it off well. They also keep with their classic sound.

If you're a collector of quiet riots music. Then I definitely recommend buying this CD. It's not nearly one of their best but it still a good release for what it is. I would say guys and girls is definitely worth buying though.

I am a fan of QR since the Metal Health days and have all their albums. This album has some really good songs that have more of the classic sound, you could almost hear Kevin singing a few of the choruses. It also has some that you just get through. It was a good effort.

Most songs are good a few duds but overall good

This a very under rated album. I love this album.
