The Big Book of Berenstain Bears Beginner Books

Love it bought it for my first grand

I like reading this to my son, but it’s actually BEFORE they were the Berenstain Bears. It’s mostly the mom & papa & Brother is “small bear.” But it’s cute.

My grandkids love Berenstain Bears.

(Steven’s wife writing) My husband and I both grew up reading these books and now our 2-year old daughter loves them too! She especially loves the story about the bears going to the doctor and Papa Bear sneezing a lot. She loves to mimic the “Ahh-Ahh-CHOO!” It makes her giggle every time and has started going around everywhere doing fake sneezing (which is pretty funny in our current Covid world). It also made her recent trip to the pediatrician more understandable for her little mind. Highly recommend this book!

We read the berenstain bears to our children when they were small, and now we read them to our grandchildren. Our two year old grandson loves the Spooky Old Tree. As he gets older we can't wait to introduce him to the other stories. The Bear's Picnic will be the next one we read together.

This is a collection of the older Berenstain Bear stories so the illustrations are different, the stories don't follow the same format as they do today, and Sister Bear isn't a character yet. If you buy this collection thinking they will be the same style as today you will probably be disappointed. For those who love BB and wanted the classic stories this is a great collection. My 4-year old girls looked at the illustrations at first & were confused but absolutely love them now since the stories & illustrations are so silly. In one story Papa Bear teachers Brother what NOT to do when riding a bike therefore he falls a lot which of course children love. In other stories he teaches them water safety, again by teaching brother what NOT to do which is a funny way of teaching since he gets a lot of "boo-boos." Some of the stories are nice and long, others are shorter so you can pick & choose depending on the night- can be good for early readers as well. Almost every children's book has some sort of serious lesson, I'm glad we go this one, kids need to laugh and have fun too.

My daughter loves the Berenstain Bears books, especially these older ones. This is actually the second copy I've bought for her as the first one was so well loved, it fell apart. To the people who keep saying this isn't "traditional Berenstain Bears": these stories are some of the first ones that existed and are actually the ORIGINAL Berenstain Bears. The cover is the "modern" style of them for some reason. But the drawings inside the book are exactly the way the original books looked, and a simple Google search would tell you that. There is nothing "imposter" about these!

We already had the Big Book of Berenstain Bears Beginner Books and it was an absolute favorite of our 5 year old reader. She carries it around and reads it all the time. I discovered this version and thought it would be a great addition to her growing library. It is a new favorite and she has read the whole thing at least once and several stories multiple times since it arrived four days ago. It is a great collection of easy-to-read simple funny stories as well as more advanced, interesting stories. Highly recommended (along with the Big Book of Berenstain Bears Beginner Books.

Good size bedtime book with fun stories my toddler likes to join in with. A childhood favourite of mine too. Fast delivery. Recommend
