Must Read for All Pastors and their Spouse!
My draw to this book was less for me and more for my wife. We read it together, and it gave great opportunities to have questions about doing ministry together. Another book I wish I read when I started in ministry, along with Pastor’s Soul.

A Pastor Who Neglects Family Neglects the Church
As an experienced pastor, I resonated with many insights the Crofts bring forth. Many of these were learned the hard way by me in earlier years. I would, perhaps, have learned them quicker and with less collateral damage if I had read and heeded such words in my initial years in ministry. Highly recommended, especially to any just starting on their pastoral journey.

A pastor and his wide share the story of what it takes for a healthly pastor's family.
A book that will help a pastor balance his work life with his family life. This book includes both perspectives of the pastor and his wife which provides the life of a pastor from intriguing points of view.

Helpful Survey
This book highlights the need for pastors to prioritize their families over their ministries. Starting with the failed example of George Whitefield, William Carey, and John Wesley, the author builds a tight case. For all married men in pastoral ministry, I highly recommend.

such a great read! especially if your family is involved in ministry!
I would highly recommend this book to all couples who are heavily involved in ministry regardless if your a pastor/pastorwife or not. Ministry life is hard but so worth it in the long run and this book definitely helped put things in perspective for us! Giving us tools to helping us succeed and prioritize our family while working for God and the callings he has placed in our lives

Piedoso e honesto
Autores bastante piedosos e honestos quanto às alegrias e dificuldades do ministério. Recomendo o livro para pastores e suas esposas.

A pastors MUST on his shelf
This is bar far one of my most favourite books to date. Highly recommended as both practical, but completely honest about the struggles all pastors feel. Not only encouraging but challenging to my faith as well. Definitely on my list of 're-read' books!
