I purchased this unit years ago from a fancy gift shop in San Francisco. The material is the same but this new one on amazon is slightly thinner and lighter so you don't get carpel tunnel when pouring tea! The screw for the handle fell off after years of use and the seller actually sent me a replacement screw! I'm sooooo impressed and ready to buy more elegant products from them!

I absolutely adore this teapot. You do have to take care to not stain it with red or blue herbal teas, but the set is just stunning and keeps the tea hot for a surprisingly long time compared to my other teapots.

Just received this and it is absolutely beautiful. Clean and simplistic, it is a work of art. I almost hate to brew tea in it. The cups are smooth and fit the hand very nicely. I'm thinking about ordering another one just to display.
