All the essentials and an appropriate container for human ashes
It feels a little weird reviewing this item, and I won’t add personal details. The urn is a stained-wood box with a composite bottom. All the mitered corners were cut accurately and well-joined. The bottom is attached with four small Phillips-head screws. There was plenty of room inside for contents. It is also easy and straightforward to attach a nameplate to the front (not included, of course, but available on Amazon). The urn was packaged in foam, both rigid and thin-sheet, and arrived without damage. This is a dignified and classic urn that you can use without feeling like you somehow skimped because you didn’t pay a funeral director 6 times the price for the same item. (Pro tip: you did not skimp.)

Slight defect on the corner, but otherwise nice
It arrived nicely packaged, yet has a flaw on a corner? Decided to keep it, bc it was otherwise quite nice and the ashes needed a place to be. It fits the ashes of an adult. It's pretty on the shelf.

I knew my husband was dying and bought this cherry-finished urn/box. It is beautifully crafted with perfect joints and finish. Very very pleased. (It was exactly what I had seen here - but at less than half the price...!!) Definitely recommend. (Fast shipment and very well packaged for protection in transit)

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. My urn arrived today, opened it and it was already damaged. The top lid just slid right off and you can see where the glue was put on BADLY and it is scratched and damaged all over as well! My fathers ashes were supposed to go in here and now I have to find and buy another one!!
