Why try and repair? My 2001 Craftsman 18 HP B&S powered lawn tractor was having a carb float problem. The fuel would pour through the carb. Added a petcock, the fuel still would pour into the carb and the engine stalling the engine. I installed this new carb kit. It fit perfectly. Easy to install. Air filter also. Started right up, runs like it is 2001 again.

Perfect fit of carburetor. The package contained extra parts for another rebuild. Clamps, spark plug, hoses, complete carburetor, gaskets, air filters and fuel filter and fuel shutoff valve. Awesome but. I thought the tractors motor was gone. It was smoking and stalling out. After putting on the new carb, it runs great. No smoke, nothing. I replaced the carb on my ahrens zero turn . Perfect, never had to adjust a thing. Included all gaskets. This is an outstanding product.

The carburetors work for a bit out of the box. I bought 2 one for a back up and after the return window closed they all failed. So one lasted 2 mows the other not even one. I ran out of time for the return window. I would not waste any money on these cheap versions. They flood as soon as they encounter a decent load. I have tried to limit the mixture but to no avail. Now I order 2 better ones from Briggs and Stratton. Yes they will cost more but now I am out $50 for the cost of 2 of these.

Exact replacement for the original on my 17.5 hp Briggs. No modifications needed. Comes with new spark plug, fuel filter, sur off valve, hose, clamps and miscellaneous spares. Started right up and only needed minor adjustments to the mixture screw. Easier and faster than rebuilding the original.
