Adjustable Leather Skipping Rope, Pure Wooden Handle and Swivel Bearing Design, Suitable for Fitness Venues and Home Fitness Exercises

This jump rope is fine! It's far above cheap jump ropes. I get a good arm work out from it and after working with it occasionaly for two or three weeks I can cruise without worrying about the rope getting caught or snagging. The rope also maintains a good form so I don't have to worry about it whipping my arms and leaving lashings. The leather is of good quality and the handles are just right. They're not too heavy and they're not too light, just enough to put some wear on my arms, which only takes a few minutes, around three for me. If you want a rope to work your on arm strength and endurance then this is a good start. It's also okay for cardio, but in my opinion it's better for arm strength and endurance; especially the tri's and forearms. I had only one caeveat, I was a bothered by the plastic skip gaurd on the leather rope. It didn't stay fixed in the middle and I felt like it was messing up the balance of the skips. So that had to go. Overall, I'll give the rope a thumbs up.

I just purchased this. It does not have a metal screw inside to adjust the rope length. It has a two-piece plastic sleeve that supposedly does the same thing as the screw, but I think the plastic parts will only adjust once, then you're stuck with whatever you set them at, plus it's not real clear how they should be adjusted.Other than that fairly significant reduction in quality, it seems like a nice rope to replace my old Everlast one, which is no longer manufactured. I wish this one has a weighted option, though, like Everlast used to.

Best rope I’ve ever owned and I currently have 3. Made from super premium materials and looks like a piece of art. Easy to adjust length. Just unscrew handle on one side, cut leather as many inches as you need, then rescrew metal onto handle. Only thing is I had to give it away to a friend who liked it so much!!! Will be getting myself another one.

So far I've had this rope for about a month, but I must say that I have definitely enjoyed using it thus far. It seems as though it is of great durable material, nice leather, and wooden handles. You can see some wear that to me could seem a bit concerning for the durability of the rope near the handles, but so far it seems to be holding up prettying well. It seems to break in nicely; I am happy with the purchase and would recommend to beginners as well for I am one myself. Great workout!

I've tried a lot of jump ropes and this one seems to be the easiest to keep going once I get started. I was going to get one that showed how many times I jumped, but I went with this one and glad I did. I just set a timer and did my usual 500 jumps and then checked the timer. It was about four minutes, so I just set a timer now for four minutes and quit when the timer goes off. Then I don't have to manually count and I'm sure the count is about the same every time.

To shorten the rope it was supposed to have a metal ring with a metal screw. That was the reason why I bought THIS, and not other similar ropes. And now I got what I did not want to have, plastic pieces, that are almost impossible to use and which very likely will wear out shortly. NOT OK!

My son loves this rope! This is the same type that my older brother used, so I searched for one for my grown son who has always loved skipping rope. Thanks Amazon!

Not as shown, plastic inside unlike the photo that shows a metal collar and a screw. Also, has a standard bearing unlike the photo that had a ball in a socket. Other than these details it’s probably a good rope, just not the one I ordered
