Exactly what we needed. Using this to pack an excision wound for a pinoidal cyst, and it's absorbant, keeps down gunk, doesn't irritate the area, and conforms to the space. Apparently it's the most comfortable packing as well. I have been using this for days when the patient is at work and comfort is vital (he is ten to twelve hours on his feet.) We alternate it with an iodine dressing overnight to reduce risk of infection.It has been a long old haul this wound - the patient had to wait a year for surgery and there have been complications since, but this is the best dressing we have had. Highly recommended.

If cutted in short pieces it is useful to stop nose bleeding.

I’ve been using this for repacking my pilonidal cyst post op wound and it works just fine. When I go in to get it packed by the nurse they use aquacel, but those are much more expensive in comparison. If you need something cheaper and reliable then get these. They have a tendency to rip when being pulled out which is super scary considering my wound is a small hole which is quite deep. So far no serious complications. Does the job.

I ordered this for my husband's wound care needs. The wound care center he was going to uses a home medical company to mail the wound care materials needed but they were out of this product so I ordered it on Amazon. It's easy to cut to fit to the size needed and did the job.

For me it’s been a life saver… I have a medical issue where I can, and do, randomly bleed from, and unless it’s severe, (then I pile on a bunch) I use a double layer and apply pressure and usually stops really quickly, but need to use a lot of saline to loosen it when removing to try and avoid it pulling and starting the bleed again. Although it’s kept me from losing a whole lot more blood than without, have still lost a fair bit in the last two weeks (9 episodes) and have to get a transfusion tomorrow. Product also works WAY better than an extremely costly product I used to get from my nurses…and I love that it’s customizable , I pre cut a few of them into multiple strips and sizes so I have them ready in case I need to act quickly. I have faith though that this issue will be a done deal really soon and I’d be happy never to have to use it again, other than for miner cuts and scratchesHope this is helpful, sorry it’s so long
