I looked at budget lids on eBay and was dubious of throwing cash at a potential dodgy purchase. The helmet is well constructed and comfortable. There is a bug net included which is not something I like but it could potentially save you from a nasty sting. The helmet fits well across the cranium but is a deep fit (for me) so it sits on the brow. Fit is always something which is specific to the wearer so it will be different for all but take a look at some of the pics to see the fit (see reviewer pics - can’t upload currently as I am travelling). The helmet is cool and well vented, with good rear coverage and a nice peak. Would I spend money on a budget lid again - this all depends on the buyers budget. I think it is a good buy but I’m not confident it will stand up to a hard or high speed impact. Price wise, I would give it a thumbs up.
