Great with supervision
Very nice for good models. Adult for children is best as needs for sanding/painting. Paint AFTER construction for best look 👍

Another great Tamiya kit
Tamiya, again, puts out another fantastic kit with great detail. Everything just goes together with little fuss and even less filler. Watch out spots are drilling holes for the drop tanks and the wing assembly if you're putting them in the down position. WIP image attached.

It's pretty small
I had fun with this thing. I haven't done models since I was a kid, but I wanted something to work on. The instructions were a little confusing at times, but I think someone with more experience would be able to follow them with ease. What I didn't remember was how small the model and the parts were. In order to do a proper paint job on some of the parts, I had to shave a paintbrush down to a single bristle. Seriously, one bristle. It is completely unpainted, and it doesn't come with paint or glue, so buying the model is only part of the investment if you're starting from scratch. A good set of modeling tools and paint brushes is a must. I'm pretty happy with the end result, and I'll be starting another one soon.

My Own Corsair!
Delivery time was great, price was great, and it arrived in a box without any dents. All the pieces look like they’re there, and now as soon as I get the glue, I’ll start putting it together! I recommend this seller for their timeliness, variety of items and price.

Great quality!!
I’ve built 5 Tamiya planes now and they are so much fun to build, the fit is great very minimal smoothing not really sanding and the finished product looks amazing

Slightly lacking in detail, but that aside, a really good kit and for the money, excellent value. Not a massive project either. An hour or so a day and you'll be done within a week. Fit is very good and the only thing to watch out for are some errors in the instructions. The wing instructions are showing incorrect left/right assembly and I found the gun sight needed to be sanded down to fit into the instrument panel. Minor things to be honest. I had very little filling and sanding to do for seam lines and I would just say, be careful with the wing alignment where the folds are. Don't apply glue until you have it bang on. I use Tamiya tape to get it all aligned and only then inched around the join, gluing small sections as I made sure everything was bang on. The decals aren't great, the older Tamiya were always too thick. I replaced them with Microscale decals and that allowed me to do a two tone blue paint job, with satin white underneath. It looked so much better than all sea blue. Just add a bit of detail to the cockpit with some photoetch, some better decals and you've got a very nice result indeed. Even masking and then airbrushing the colour scheme was a breeze. A slightly different looking plane, so worth having one in the collection. Looks great next to the Eduard Wildcat that I recently built.
