Looks great! Brightens the aquarium!
It was difficult to install on a full aquarium backed up to a wall but after about an hour and a few choice words it looks good! Much better than the view of the cords hanging behind it. It really brightens up the aquarium and reflects the light back out. Not being a true sticker made it much more forgiving for making adjustments and getting air bubbles out.

Installation is great with the right tools.
Great product. I have this on two tanks. Get a squeegie to install this. You'll get no bubbles at all. Check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYfe5lBt8Lk to install. It's basically the same thing. Not hard at all with the right tools. As for the guys saying that the background is dim, all they had to do was a little research to find out that you just need to peel off the protective cover to get the full effect. My 29 gallon tank with the background installed. The plant has bad leaves right now, but I've remedied the problem of the plecostamus eating all the plants by giving him a slice of cucumber once a day. He loves his cucumber slices.

Looks nice, easy application
I applied my new aquarium back ground today. It took a bit of extra effort since my tank is only about 4 inches away from the wall. It would be easier on a new tank that you can face directly while applying. However, I think it went on fairly smoothly. Although a few bubbles and streaks are there. My previous background was a hand painted sheet of poster paper, in pretty much the same color scheme. This cling on plastic is brighter and stands out more, since the shiny plastic reflects the light which I like. The fish seem to approve, they were watching and chasing as I was smoothing bubbles out behind the film. The film creases rather easily and just like a plastic screen protector, cat hair will get trapped under it. This is applied to a 29 gallon Aqueon bow front tank, there were several inches left over after cutting the length.

What I find is that the actual item sent looks more like an artists rendering of the picture shown on the ...
The small pic shown on the order page seems much more blue and high def than what I actually received (and yes, I did remove the backing to see the 'real' picture. What I find is that the actual item sent looks more like an artists rendering of the picture shown on the page. There also seems to be much more green in the "sand" area, which I don't like as much. For install: I worked for 10 minutes to try to get the air bubbles out of about 1/4 of the background. At that point, I removed the backing and wiped down the back of my aquarium using a wet washcloth. Leaving the glass wet, I reapplied the background, and was able to easily (very easily) then remove all air bubbles in a matter of a few minutes using a credit card. Definitely, if you are installing these, wet the glass first!

Wet the glass before applying!
This background does a good job hiding wires and the external filter parts. Before and after pictures attached. Wetting the glass before applying the background is an absolute necessity, it's impossible to smooth out the decal otherwise. The image is a bit darker than it appears in the photo, but I'm happy with it.

Not what I expected.
This product looks like it does in the photo but after applying to fish aquarium there are too many bubbles in the plastic material to actually make out that it is an ocean photo. It does stick well but pointless to have if buying for the photo background.

Hard to remove bubbles
The scene looks great for an aquarium and is well made (5 stars). Now for the reason for a 2-star rating. The problem is that it is very hard to apply the film without trapping bubbles between the product and the tank glass. Think of installing a phone screen protector yourself except that your phone screen is HUGE and the screen protector is very thin and rather flimsy. I ended up removing it and disposing of the product. I will shop for a product that does not attach by clinging.

Colors look great! Here’s what I learned:
The colors are great! Here are my comments-1. It takes 2 people to apply it and take your time.2. Even though you don’t see any bubbles when applying, when water is in the tank, you’ll see bubbles. I have turtles, so it’s only a few inches of water, but I see tiny bubbles. Still looks good.3. I only had to cut 1/2” off the top and it was very hard to cut a straight line. Not sure I could cut it and make it look good if I had a smaller tank.
