A very smart car battery charger!
Easy to understand operation. Automatic mode takes the guess work out of connecting it to your car battery. I like the display showing what my voltage and amperage is as it is charging.Works very well

A must have in winters
Works as described. Very useful during cold winter days when not driving for several days.

They don’t make things like they used to
Not really happy with this when my battery was completely dead. It did not register. The battery was even there. I had to pull it by connecting a 9 V battery to it to make it thing through the battery there before I could get it to work to charge my battery For my automobile

Renews Batteries and Safe as a Tender
Charges 12 or 24 volts. Has recovered several batteries. Has an auto or manual switch. Displays amps during charging, which makes it easy to tell if the battery is dead (if its still at several amps a day later, or below 12.6v, it's dead).Case is pretty open and the fan makes noise. Inside my marine environment boat it hasn't rusted or failed yet. I wouldn't leave this outside in rain or dew.

Automatic and easy to use.
I purchased this charger to charge both the 12 volt and 24 volt systems in my new boat. When hooked up to either the 12 or 24 volt system it automatically detects and displays which system it's hooked up to. It also tells the charge status of the batteries. It also then tells the amperage it is charging at which eventually goes down as the battery is being charged. When the battery is fully charged, the charger automatically goes into a maintainer mode but at that point I go ahead and unplug it, just so I don't wear out the fan, because the instructions say the fan must always be running when charging. A lot of products I've owned over the years the first thing that goes bad is the fan so I'm just trying to save the fan. The charger description said that the charger also repaired batteries, which I found out to be soooo true. My riding lawn mower battery had basically gone bad and I had to charge it every time I used it and the next day it would be dead again. I decided to try this new charger on that battery and sure enough, it seems to have rejuvenated it because it now holds a charge for several weeks. This charger actually paid for itself right away because now I don't have to purchase a new lawnmower battery this Spring which would cost more than the charger cost. The short cables don't bother me a bit either, I just put the charger on a milk crate allowing me to see all the lights so I can tell what it's doing. This product is so inexpensive I don't know how long it will last but all I have to say is I'm extremely happy with it right now.

Not so Automatic
The battery leads are way too short. AC lead is also too short. The automatic function assumes a depleted 24V is 12V and will not charge. 10A is really only a trickle charge. "User manual" is a silly useless mess of bad English that explains only the obvious. No explanation of all the panel lights or what the flashing colors mean. Low contrast display hard to read unless angle is right and no more than 20" away. Nevertheless, it will eventually charge a 12V battery. Good luck with 24V use. Should have a 12V/24V switch. Good price.

MANUAL charge works!
I needed this to force charge my car battery from 0.0 volts. It worked! Left it 20min to get a good charge and switched to auto to not over do it. I put my battery on a smart charger after just in case, but no way was anything else but manual going to bring back my battery. It's very hard to find manual chargers that do this these days and for the price it's incredible. I have a charged battery now at 13.5v. Get em while their hot.
