3 reasons why I would not recommend this!
Warmth-I work 8.30 hr shifts, coffee was almost too hot to drink at the 5th hour, stayed warm to the 7th hour then all my coffee was gone.Thickness-I dont know what this pertains to? The cup is not ridiculously chunky, I love the size of it, fits in my 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee cupholder. Fits in my hand well.Leak proof-I rated 4 stars which I will explain below. The color is beautiful, its holo in some lighting, burgundy plum in other lighting and I love both. The 3 things I do not like about this product, 3 things that make it a pass-1. There is NO way to clean underneath the sliding bit that opens and closes the mouth opening.2. The lid seals good, but if you arent using a straw and you're tipping it to drink from it, theres a lip that sticks out around the hole and when you are done drinking, liquid sits there and if you tip your cup, it indeed will spill.3. The part you drink from on the lid sticks out A LOT, you can see it in the picture but I was hoping it wasnt that long of a lip. It makes it hard to try and suck up the sitting liquid from drinking out of the cup by tipping it.If they made the sliding bit detachable so I can clean it, and shortened the lip on the lid where you put your mouth to drink, then I would recommend this.

Great cup!
It’s not fully leakproof, but that wasn’t what I was looking for since I always use a straw. The color is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and the cup is elegant to hold and use. They go a step further with the rubber bumper on the bottom, which protects the cup as well as the surface it’s set upon, as well as the drinking lip. Very happy with this cup!Edited to add: I've also recently made the decision to stop using fast food/restaurant disposable cups and carry my own travel cup with me when I go out. In my extensive collection of metal travel cups (seriously, I have too many of them. I'm kind of obsessed.) this is the only cup that made the cut for being easy to carry in my biggish purse while holding enough liquid to make it worth my while. I can't say enough good things about this cup.

Perfect size; straw is ingenious! No tip overs
I am absolutely thrilled with this. I am very very picky about my coffee and it’s holder. It had to fit in my jeep without falling over and it had to hold the right amount and it had to be capable of me having ice coffee in it. The metal straw is fabulous because I’m not throwing plastic in the ocean to her turtles. I just wish they provided more than one straw. It’s my big fear because I know I will miss placed it. However this is the perfect size for a jeep patriot and it is the perfect size for a large coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts and I think you’ll really love it! The other one I had I will do a review of that one Was much too tall and it always fell over. This is the perfect size!

You can clean the sliding closure!
I have used this mug daily for over 15 months. It suits me perfectly. I love the slender size and the extended depth and width of the lip make it perfect for hot drinks (I use it almost exclusively for coffee.) When you take a sip the coffee is drawn into the lip where it has just a second to cool off before you sip it. I never burn my tongue on hot coffee because I have just enough time to gauge the temperature before I drink it. The insulation works great too. I was a little disappointed that coffee residue was building up inside the slider parts, but I’d come to expect this of most coffee mug lids. Then I read in the product description that you could remove the slider by popping it out from the side WITH A FLAT OBJECT. It works! The parts clean up easily (I used a toothbrush) and pop back in good as new! TIP: When you first put the lid on a hot beverage, leave the slider open for a bit. If you put the lid on closed without allowing some air to escape first the lid may pop up just a bit and leak if sloshed. Just open the slider before you put the lid on. I fully recommend the THILY 16 oz Insulated Skinny Tumbler Travel Mug.

Liquid gets trapped in the top
I loved the shape and feel of this tumbler..narrow enough for small hands. It keeps hot liquids very hot for a very, very long time. I sometimes have to remove the top and let my tea cool off for a while before putting the top back on...and it stays at that temperature. My ice coffee even stayed perfectly cold without melting the ice too fast and watering down my coffee. The coffee tastes so much better drinking from this cup. My only gripe is that the lid allows liquid to get trapped between the actual lid and the small plastic piece that you slide over to close the lid. Whenever liquid gets trapped, it will drain out if you hold it a certain way, but it's really hard to clean it since you can't take the top apart or anything, and now I'm noticing some staining inside between the plastic pieces, and I can only imagine how gross that will become if I keep getting liquid stuck in there. So, I gave it 3 stars because I can't really drink from the cup with the lid because I don't want to take the chance of letting liquid get caught in there and causing gross buildup. Also, significant staining can occur inside of this cup if coffee stays in there for too long. So far, I've been able to wash that all out, so that's really not a problem yet. Overall, it's a good tumbler, but not worth the price. I did buy my husband a very similar one from a local big box store for $5 that has a much easier lid to clean. It's not as narrow, but is the same height so I did get myself one of those too and it works equally as well at keeping hot things hot and cold things cold.

20oz, not 22oz. Please correct how this is listed!
The cup just arrived so I am not able to speak to durability. I am here due to disappointment. It was advertised as 22oz but it’s only 20oz and it states that on the packaging. Yes, only a difference of 2oz but still annoying. please update how this product is listed. The cup itself is beautiful. As another person mentioned, the red-brown is a beautiful plum, sparkly color.

Love!
Received 2 days ago. So pretty!!Kept my coffee hot for hours on first day with lid closed. Today I had left the mouthpiece open and it kept the coffee warm for hours (3ish hours until I was done).Easy to clean. I saw 1 review of complaint that the lid cannot be cleaned, but the sliding part can definitely be popped off with a flat object like a spoon or butter knife to clean. I had emailed Thily and they sent a video back showing exactly how to easily pop it off.

Leakproof and sooo nice to look at
These photos were taken with water inside the tumbler (yes, you can turn it upside down above a laptop!). Fell in love the first time I held it in my hands -- it's so pretty and is exactly what a good tumbler should be. Feels really well made. It's easy to use because you don't have to fumble with screwing the top on. The silicone-lined leakproof lid is easy to manoeuvre. The lip is really nice to drink from, but the trickle can be a bit slow so that's one thing to be aware of if you like taking big gulps. On the bright side, you can turn it upside down completely and not make a mess while you try to extract as much content as you can. Haven't tested out how heat-insulating it is yet, but the interior looks similar to any other container with decent temperature-keeping potential so I'm not too worried. Overall, I'm super happy with my purchase and will be enjoying early mornings with an extra touch of sparkle :)

SUPER impressed!! Amazing cup!
Omg. These are A-mazing!!! They keep drinks sooooooo cold. I am super impressed. Even keeps ice unmelted in it over night! I had my best friend buy one too because I was so impressed. Great job! Only downside or thing you have to get used to is the cold cold drink in a metal straw, SUPER cold drinking it too lol

Pretty good with modifications I made
As delivered, I found this reusable mug sub-optimal. I was never intending to use it for cold beverages, and the first time I put hot coffee in it, put the lid on, slid the lid closed, went to work, and the lid exploded off the cup from the build-up of steam inside the cup. When I drank out of it, there was barely any flow because the hole in the lid was too small and obstructed by the rest of the lid.I looked at the rest of the reviews and someone showed how to remove the slider with a spoon. I popped it off, heated up a nail, and melted the hole larger. Then, I took a sharp metal skewer and forced the rubber plug out of the end of the slider (furthest away from the drinking end). Now when the lid is sealed and on the cup, there’s just enough air flow to prevent the cup from exploding in my car again. Win! It keeps my coffee toasty warm for my entire “short” work shift (4 hours plus travel time) so works great!Only 4 stars because I shouldn’t have to purposely destroy the lid to get it to work better (plus, I can see that slider snapping one of these days when I remove it for cleaning every so often)

Well made insulated tumbler with metal straw
Wanted to get my son a new Tumbler at home as I don’t like waste, so this one fitted the bill. Comes with a metal straw and straw cleaner in the box. It is insulated too so will keep a cold drink cool for a long time, same with a hot drink. It feels well built and he loves the metallic pattern on the side.
