We bought this hat before a trip to a hot, sunny country and it’s seriously the best hat. It’s very light weight, but the brim is thick and still flexible. It packs easily, and the wide brim stays out of baby’s eyes while providing shade for the whole face. The chin strap is strong enough to hold the hat on in the wind, well placed to not choke baby, and the toggle to adjust the length stays put. The back stays down and is very light so air can get through, perfect for in the carrier, stroller, or backpack. This is the best design and material, I’m so impressed with this hat!

We bought this hat for my nearly 4-year-old to wear to the beach. He wore it sun up to sundown! It’s adorable, incredibly lightweight and the water bounces right off of it. It packed well in a suitcase and the chinstrap was so helpful because the beach was so windy! Our son has a pretty big head and this still fit with the adjustable bands! Sun coverage was optimized and I’m so glad we found this! Highly recommend!

Bought last summer when my baby was 2 months old, and this fit her well and provided great sun protection. The hat still fits her now and she’s 12 months. It’s been shoved into diaper bags and holds its shape well.

I love this hat so much. The colors go with everything. It will last us for years because of the adjustable strap in the back and under the chin. The flap in the back covers the back of her neck which I love. The material is breathable and handles well in the washing machine!

Every feature of this hat is great (with one exception, that I’ll get to in a sec). The bill is a sturdy foam, so it won’t flop down in the kid’s face when wet, and it will float if it comes off in the water. The chin strap and the adjustable strap in back help customize the fit, the color is fantastic, and the fabric dries quickly and keeps their heads cool. My only issue with this hat - which would otherwise be “perfect,” is that the hat is somewhat shallow on my children’s heads. It seems like it needs to have a little more fabric and fit down a little further over their heads - if that makes sense. They still work, but it bugs me.

Love all aspects of these hats: lightweight, dry fast, great coverage and very adjustable. Has held up perfectly in sun, water, etc.

Fits great for 4 month old plus lots of coverage.
