Will Give Name Brand Socks A Run For Their Money!!!
I took a chance on these having never purchased boot socks. I checked the reviews on all kinds of other boot socks with 4.5 stars, but the price of those socks was always higher than what I was willing to pay. I ordered 6 pairs of these socks for less than some sellers were charging for 2 pairs of the name brand ones. They arrived today and went straight into the wash and dryer. I wear a size 10.5 boot, and am 5 ft 9 in. The foot portion of these socks fit my foot perfectly and the extra ribbing / elastic over the top and arch of the foot created a snug fit without being overly restrictive. The foot-bed portion is super thick and padded and I find myself looking forward to putting my boots on to see how the boot and sock combination works together. Out of all the other brands of boot socks and reviews, most simply stated that the socks "stayed up" all day, but never gave any specifics of how tall they were. At 5 ft 9 in, the top of these socks completely cover my calves and stop just below the area where my knee bends. When seated, the top portion of the sock does not create any issues on the back of my calf from the natural bed of the knee. The elastic in the "shaft" of the sock is sufficient enough to keep the sock up and completely over the calf, but is not restrictive at all. Only time will tell as far as "wear & tear" go, but I will update after they have been put through the test. For now, I plan to order a couple more pairs so I have enough pairs to get me through an entire week with a pair or two left over for laundry day. Update: 2-23-16: After repeated washes and wear, these boot socks are still holding up remarkably well. I have noticed that the elastic in the shaft part is starting to lose some of its elasticity, but for the length of time that I have had them compared to the price, they are still a great pair of socks for a bargain of a price.

Nice quality but tight
My husband recently broke his ankle and needed long socks to wear under his massive removable cast so I purchased these in hopes that they would be long enough in addition to being comfortable. These are really well made socks and are very thick, they are also quite long compared to other tube socks or boot socks, they do go to the knee. The problem we ran into is that they are very tight fighting socks, somewhat comparable to compression socks, so ultimately he could not use them with his cast as his foot and ankle are still swollen. He will, however, be wearing them once the swelling goes down and when he wears his riding boots.

Strong, cushy and comfortable.
I searched a long time before finding these socks. The wait was well worthwhile and I'll be purchasing these from now on.

Great Purchase
I had originally purchased a different brand of socks for my husband. However, those were returned. I purchased the Wolverine brand to replace them. My husband really likes them! Although pricey, these socks are nice and warm, not overly thick and do not slide down my husband's calves even when he is wearing his boots while out in the barn. I'll be buying him more!

Decent Deal, Fit Is Far Too Tight.
These socks are very very tight. I'm talking I have to have my wife yank them off when I'm done mowing. Which is the only time I wear them. I wear a size 12 in everything, basketball shoes, work boots, house shoes, etc. I buy primarily Thorlos socks for every different kind of shoe. Being that mowing the lawn pretty much wrecks my socks within a year spending $15 a pair was not wise. I've worn Wolverine work boots in the past and had good luck with them so I gave these socks a try. Pros. They have alot of cushion. They seem durable after 4 months. Ive only seen minimal loss of fabric in the heel and toe areas. They are cheap. Cons. As said before. Both pairs of mine are incredibly tight! I've never had socks this hard to put on and take off. I may buy another set, just to see if my first two are an anomaly or this is simply the way these are made.

Durable
These socks are far more durable than the socks I used to buy. I would wear a hole in the toe of my old brand after 4 or 5 wears. These are way better, and I haven't had a hole yet in the months since I've been wearing them
