I cannot write enough to gush on what a good detangler this is for small kids. My neice has very long and fine hair and doing her hair at any time was a royal pain. But this brush is truly painless whether on wet or on dry hair. The bristles are soft, of different sizes and so they painlessly allow for brushing. Hair time is reduced from a minimum of 15-20 minutes with associated yelling to just (I actually timed it) 5 minutes. And there were hardly any breakages- it moves so smoothly and softly over long tresses. Go for it- it is worth every penny that it costs. Now I plan to get one brush for myself as well.

Bought this for my daughter. Earlier, after a bath, it was a fight between mother and daughter over combing her hair. This, just changed everything. Now no more screaming and yelling. Combing her hair is not a painful experience anymore.

I think it's too expensive. Bought it as a detangling brush but You do lose hair the same as when using any normal brush.

My 6 year old daughter has thick (as in a lot) of waist length stick straight hair. However, it is extremely fine, fly-away, narrow hair shafts. It gets very very tangled and is very hard to manage and painful for her. I got this brush for "fine" hair and, combined with detangler, it works great ( and we've used all kinds of detanglers and detangling brushes). I definitely recommend.

Not for sensitive heads the bristles are plastic and very hard for little heads. My dtr is 1.5 and it won't work until she's much older

Bought this brush for my 9 month old son that has a head full of thin fine hair. He loves the bright colors (neon pink and yellow) wish there were more colors but obviously not a deal breaker. This brush is gentle that it doesn’t pull or snag but gets knots out. Also great distraction while changing his diaper.

My daughter doesn't scream when I brush her hair, I have to go through her hair more to get all the tangles out but at least shes not yelling at be. Alsonl not dog proof my dogs chewd on it a little due to it being all plastic now not all the bristles stand up straight.
