Camino tested
I wore this hiking the Camino in Galicia, Spain in April. It fit over my pack and generally kept me dry. Occasionally I would get some water down the collar, but the poncho was great anyway for keeping me very dry overall. Recommended, and a lot less expensive and durable than comparable ponchos.

Excellent light weight, packable poncho for rural or urban hiking
Used these on a recent trip to Europe across 3 countries and several cities over two weeks. It rained, sporadically and heavily at times and these ponchos provided excellent protection and were easy to access and put away when not needed. The trip covered a 60+ mile hike through rural paths and also commuting on local trams, buses and longer distance inter-city trains. The material is marked as Polypropylene but feels Tyvek like. Bought 3 of these in all, which all performed well. Returned from the trip, did a cold wash and hung to dry and then folder back into the pouches they came packed in.If you have an Osprey backpack such as a Talon, the poncho and its pouch fits easily into the expandable stretch mesh pocket on the back.Well done FROGG TOGGS!

Great for people without arms, lol
Pros-Great for people that like camping (goes over backpack easily).-Easily folds up for storage (comes with a bag for easy carry). Fits in a storage locker (or car trunk) very easily. Just fling out and roll.-Light (for camping/hiking when space/weight is an issue). Didn't feel like I had it on, definite plus!Cons-No arms protection. While this is great water protection (for the head and body), the arms get drenched; especially if out in the weather for extended periods of time.Yes, I knew when I bought it, it didn't come with sleeves. I mainly bought it because I go through outside (and uncovered) turnstiles at work. Getting an umbrella through those are possible (you have to close it up), but you get rained on in the process. Maybe it's because I'm a large man (6'3, 250lbs), but my arms were absolutely drenched by the time I got indoors. In warmer climates, that's fine, but if you live in a colder environment (like me), that's horrible, lol.Maybe have more material come down over the arms? Would still recommend.

Worked perfectly in keeping my essentials and backpack dry during the constant rain on my camino walk. Lightweight and durable I would recommend this to anyone looking for quick lightweight shelter!

Rain Rain 🎶go away !
I recently purchased the Frogg Toggs Ultra-Lite2 Poncho.Pros:Striking Color: The first thing that caught my eye was the color. It's vibrant and stands out, which is great for visibility during outdoor activities.Effectiveness: Yes, it works! I've been out in the rain a few times with it, and it's kept me dry. The waterproofing does its job well, which is the most important aspect of rain gear.Cons:Material Quality: While the material is fine and seems breathable, it feels a bit flimsy. I'm a bit concerned about its durability in the long run, especially if it gets caught on something sharp.Overall Build: The overall build quality reflects the ultra-light nature of the product. It's great for light rain and moderate conditions but might not hold up in more extreme weather or rough usage. Conclusion:Overall, the Frogg Toggs Ultra-Lite2 Poncho is a decent choice for someone who needs basic rain protection without the bulk. It's wonderfully lightweight and easy to pack, making it ideal for light outdoor activities or as an emergency rain gear. However, if you're looking for something to withstand rough conditions or more rigorous use, you might want to consider something more robust. It's a good balance of functionality and style, just handle it with care!

Saved me on The Camino
The media could not be loaded. I hiked the Camino de Santiago during extreme rain in August and September 2023. I thought of Frogg Toggs as sort of light duty urban rainwear but this poncho really did the job for me on the Camino. It’s nice and lightweight so it’s easy to carry long distances and it dries out nicely overnight. I wish the back was a bit longer in the back to accomodate a backpack. You can’t beat it for the price.

Perfect hiking poncho
Used during a 6 month hike and this was my only protection from the rain (besides my tent). I love that it fit over my backpack as well so I didn't need to carry a pack cover. Dries incredibly quickly. Hood was good and fit over a hat.

Very good value for the money
It really is a quality poncho. It does take up a bit of space in the backpack, but it's light and performs very well at keeping you dry. And its coverage is excellent also. So glad I considered the many great reviews!

Size was too big for my frame. But is still really good
Over all like it. The fabrics used seems to be very good.

EXCELENTE PRODUCTO, NO PESA MUCHO, TE HACE SENTIR SEGURO EN LA LLUVIA.
RECOMENDADO. TENER EN CUENTA QUE LO USARAS EN SENDEROS Y MONTAÑAS Y EL RIESGO DE RASGADURAS EN ALTO. NO ESPEREN QUE LES DURE MUCHOS MESES INTACTO.
