An Educational Toy That Delights and Engages
I bought this lacing beads set for my child, and I am thrilled with the quality and design of this educational toy. The beads come in bright colors and various shapes, making them visually appealing and perfect for catching my child's attention. This toy is not only fun but also an excellent tool for developing fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and recognition of colors and shapes. The included laces are long enough and easy for my child's small hands to handle, allowing my child to lace the beads without any difficulty. It really keeps them focused and entertained.Another aspect I love is that the set includes a practical wooden box, perfect for storing the beads and keeping everything organized. Additionally, this toy offers a screen-free experience, something we highly value as a family, and it was even recommended by their school teachers. For the price, I think it is an excellent investment. It is an educational, durable toy that truly adds value to children's learning experiences. Without a doubt, I recommend it to other parents looking for something fun and useful for their kids.

Great product for 2 year old
We love Melissa and Doug products! This is great! My daughter loves making necklaces and testing her motor skills. Great value and very durable as she throws them around too. Safe for her to use and easy to clean.

Get one
Would get a 5 if it had a cover (storage needs improvement), it's like they want you to lose it. Very colorful & weighty. Good build. Safe as long as they don't hurt it @ things. Great educational value, helps fine motor skills g problem solving.

Great
My 2 year old loves these. Fun open needed toy that she independently plays with and enjoys. I sometimes get nervous with the string bc after she puts the beads on she tries to put it on as a necklace and the beads are heavy. The beads are big enough that she uses them to stack and build “towers” with. Side note, my cat also loves this toy and loves when my daughter plays with this and they have a lot of fun playing with this together lol. Good toy in our house for the price for sure

Perfect
I didn't expect much, because I don't like Melissa and and Doug puzzles and I've found a lot of their other toys to be cheaply made. I was pleasantly surprised by this bead set. The colors are vibrant. It's pretty and durable. I got it for my almost 17 month old, who learned to string beads from the Lovevery bead toy. Even better, these beads fit the Lovevery string! I actually prefer the Melissa and Doug beads, but I like that we can use them together, since my daughter still has trouble with the shoelace string. She also immediately put the beads in her mouth, but I expected that and supervise her. Some of the pieces are smaller than I'd like, but I've seen worse from toys that didn't recommend 3+. Her fingers are too large to get stuck in the holes, so that's not a concern either. I also like that beads can be used as loose parts. Overall, it's a great toy for the price that will grow with her.

Fantastic toys
I gave this set to my 17month old grandson for Christmas. He loves them! The are sturdy, solid wooden pieces. The paint is deeply coated (I don't think they will ever have paint chips coming off) and the hole in the middle is just the right size. The beading strings are sturdy with long enough good plastic ends to lace the string. There are one color of each different shape. (1 blue: square, circle, oval etc....) I think these are a great way to teach children both color and shapes at the same time. As well as helping them to develop their fine motor control skills. We sat on the floor for a long time stringing bead after bead and then emptying the lace, which sounded great on my son's hardwood floors - lolMy daughter-in-law sent me a video of my grandson going on a walk through the house dragging his string of beads behind him noisily on those hardwood floors!! Bonus use!! (I was banned from getting a popping popcorn vacuum cleaner for him to push - hahaha)I think these beads will last for generations, they are really well made. All in all it turned out to be a great gift he truly loved and grandma snuck in way for it to be educational too. (They weren't all that too noisy! Just right!!)
