Small in size, these 9 piece puzzles are thick and seem sturdy. Will update after my granddaughter opens them for her 3rd birthday. UPDATE: We have used these puzzles at least a couple times a week for over a year. They have held up well, no problems at all. She can do them by herself and has developed a love for puzzles. I definitely recommended these puzzles. Time to find larger ones like these for her to do, but will will still be using these a lot as well. We have races to see who can put their puzzle to get her first. Many good times.

Puzzles are nice and I love that the picture is in the background if they need a little help. Only issue is after they complete the puzzle and want to do it again, they have a hard time taking the puzzle apart

I bought this set for my 3yro about 5 months ago and have been meaning to leave a review to hopefully help other. My daughter honestly prefers these ones over the other brands that have the flimsy cardboard. They are small, but it really helped my daughter get the concept of puzzle building down and I love that it has the image printed on the board so she can use it as a guide. Also, getting the pieces together or apart can be more of a challenge since its a thicker wood which I can see how some reviews said their pieces chipped off some of the picture but it hasn't happened to us yet. I was surprised by the thicker wood quality and like how it snaps the pieces together. Overall I think they're great quality and we are actually shopping for more from this brand!

Tbe backing is wood, but the puzzle piec es are cardboard. Would have preferred all wood.

I bought these to use with my aunt who has dementia. At first I thought they were just to easy and young for her. But I was wrong. When I took them out she looked them because they look so cute. She also found them challenging. The best part about these puzzles are they have the same picture in the center of the board so when you put all the puzzle pieces (5/6) on the table it's easier for her to do. She just follows the picture. Yet it's challenging enough for her that it works her brain. I would recommend this to anyone who is tying to help a family member with Dementia.

I purchased these for my two year old granddaughter who loves puzzles. We haven’t used them yet, but I will supervise her when she does as the pieces are not thick wood. But they are sturdy enough for card board and fit together well.
