Works on 2010 VW Routan
I've had this for few months on my 3.8L Routan. Not sure why others had difficulties replacing it, but mine installed very easy, only took me 20 minutes or so. My EGR tube was clogged, which is likely the reason I why had the code, but I decided to replace the valve anyways and after few months it's still working, no complaints.

Great Affordable Option
Bought this to replace in my mother’s car, local auto shops wanted 3x for the same product, haven’t heard any complaints about the engine light coming back on. Took a little while and a good 10 minute test drive for the car to learn how to idle and accelerate again after installing but that’s to be expected, is holding up great so far!

I tried 2 of these with no joy. Genuine Mopar EGR valve fixed the issue
The genuine Mopar valve is so expensive so I explored this aftermarket part. The price point and the reviews were great. I installed the first unit on my 09 Town & Country 3.3 and I didn't make it out of the driveway before the CEL was back on. The error was circuit low. I checked my scantool for a re-learn process but a low/open circuit truly sounded like a defective part, especially when my original CEL code was for EGR efficiency. No relearn and I checked with the dealer and there is not a relearn needed for my year van.Returned the first one and got a second one. The second one lasted about 150 miles before the same circuit low code came on. Frustrated, I scoured forums and internet searches but found no special procedures or answers. I consulted a mechanic I know and he said "Quit being cheap, just get the genuine Mopar and it will fix it." He went on to say, for whatever reason, the Mopar stuff is finicky related to aftermarket sensors and emissions parts. I went through the same issue with a crank position sensor and he told me the same thing, use Mopar if you want it fixed.Though way too much money for what it is, the genuine Mopar now has over 500 miles on it and no issues or return CEL light...
