I needed to replace the hydraulic fittings on my bikes cables as part of a handlebar swap. At first i thought this device was an over priced vanity item, but as i had never done this exercise before thought caution was the best approach. The reality was this is an excellent item. It measures the fitting distance accurately, makes perfect alignment and a snug fit. The process takes about a minute. Without this tool, it would have taken much longer with multiple failures for alignment and fit.

Excellent hydraulic cable needle driver, far easier than using the two yellow clamps and tapping with a small hammer. With this tool, you simply lay the cable in the tool and close the clamp, then drive the needle into the cable. Comes with various push ends for different needle types (SRAM vs Shimano etc)

You have cut your bicycle's hydraulic hose and now you need to fit the reducer. This device makes the fitting easy without having to resort to a hammer. You can do this on the fly. Use this in conjunction with the hose cutter and you will avoid a trip to A&E.

Anyone that likes to work on their own bicycles will find this so simple to use without getting too technical it makes putting the little needle into the bike brake hose a breeze the other method involves using a vice and a hammer and on a small componant seems a bit brutal this just takes seconds to do
