Dropped my Sony a6000 and lense would not focus/ attach. This replacement lense works perfect with no problems and was the most affordable option I could find. Great quality and value . Image is clear , zoom works as expected. No issues & would recommend.

Lens fits perfectly on my Sony 6000.

I bought an A6400 body from the local big box electronic shop because I had an A6000 with other Sony Lenses. While the A6000 was silver, the OEM lens was also silver, and didn't match my black A6400. I purchased the Sony SELP1650 16-50mm OSS Lens: Sony E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Lens (Black) online separately because this was going to be a better value purchasing separate than the bundle offered at the big box electronic store. This version is no different than the OEM, and came in the actual lens box. I thought it would be bulk packed like some other lenses I've purchased. It works well for the basic compact lens, and even though the widest aperture is only 3.5 at 16mm, it fits the bill for most basic casual shooting. It also travels well because it's not so long too!

Nice little lens for quick street photography. The lens uses an electronic zoom, that has a decent range. The autofocus is pretty fast. And for the price (I believe I picked mine up for about $120), its a great lens to bring around the city shooting buildings, cars, and bridges. The only issue I really have with it is the lens cover: it's not a spin-off, but instead one of those pinch-off covers. It's really small, and flimsy, and it comes off in my bag sometimes. I haven't scratches the lens yet, but honestly it's just a matter of time. Overall, the lens is a great value, and I'd recommend it for any budget photographer out there with an A6100 or A6400.

About 3 years ago I purchased the Sony A6000 camera kit that included this lens. Within the last year that lens was loosing communication with the camera body. Researching the fault, I discovered that the fault seems to be a common fault. Because it was more than a year after purchase (Out of Warranty), Sony wouldn't offer any help other than have it repaired at a Sony repair center at a cost around $160. I contacted the seller here with a couple questions, as a result I purchased this lens. So far the lens is working perfectly. Only time will tell if this lens will exhibit the same issue down the road. I like the lens a lot for indoor photos dealing with family functions and alike. I have had good luck with outdoor photos as well. I have seen some negative reviews about this lens, but I can't confirm the issue of the reviewers. Remember that this isn't a high end equivalent lens costing 7 times the price. It is a good all around lens for everyday photos. Oh yes.... It doesn't have the one year Sony Warranty but the seller sells it with their one year warranty.

The cap is cheap and loose, not matching the listing description photo. It easily pops off, which is bad for videographers or gimbal users who use ND lens filters. As an FX30 user, it pops off even with small bumps or while carrying. I lost mine lens cap without realizing, while attached to the camera and carrying my gimbal. Recommend buying a third-party backup lens caps.

Lens came in a random box in just bubble wrap and looked to be used (I can confirm it was) it didn’t even come with the E-Mount, finger prints on the lens. Fine. Cleaned it. I try to used it but it was doing a harsh sound when I try to zoomed it and out. Not worth it! Had to return
