Wonder Creature Cat Water Fountain Stainless Steel, 81oz/2.4L Cat Fountain with Water Level Window and LED Light for Water Shortage Alert, Cat and Dog Fountain with 3 Filters and 1 Mat

It took a few hours for the cats to get used to it. I think the bright LED light scared them for awhile. It's a really great product. I've had a huge Petsafe Drinkwell for years, but I've always felt it was designed more for dogs than cats. One of my cats has CH and it was hard for her to bend down low to drink from the Drinkwell as her head would shake pretty bad. I knew I wanted something more vertical, smaller than the Petsafe and more "open" or with room to drink. Also, with the Petsafe one being horizontal you wasted too much water. You have to put over a half gallon in it to make sure the motor is covered, and I change their water everyday so the price of jugs adds up. My cats drink a lot, but not nearly that much. At first I was wary of getting a Chinese made product for my pet's water due to the quality of plastic used, but it's listed as BPA free so I thought I'd go for it. This fountain is better than I imagined. It's high enough where the cats don't have to bend down to drink, it's open with a little bubbling fountain top for circulation (I don't use the flower thing due to my CH cat. She can't keep steady enough to drink from the falling streams) so there's more than enough room for them to drink easily from it. They nearly had to put their heads into the Petsafe's bottom well to drink which I didn't like. It also has a stainless steel top as opposed to plastic (another thing I wanted) so it's very easy to clean. I never liked the full plastic of other fountains. The LED light is a good addition too. I haven't tested it with low water to see if the red light happens or if the motor does auto-shutoff like it's supposed to, but I shouldn't ever have that issue as I change the water everyday. I do have a few small complaints though. First, the plastic for the actual bowl reservoir part itself is a little thinner than I'd like. If you were to pick it up without the top on it's pretty flimsy. But once you put the filter section and top on, it's very stable. My other issue is with the placement of the filter. So the motor is at the bottom of the reservoir and a vertical tube is placed around its spout which causes the water to bubble out of the top section in the middle. Then the water moves to holes in the outer edges which drop it down into the tank again. The filter is ring shaped between the tank proper and the steel top, but the holes (on the top) are so close to the edge that when the water drips back down they are getting little to no contact with the filter. Other than those two quibbles, it's a wonderful product. It took me a few weeks of looking on Amazon before I finally settled on the pet fountain I was going to buy. I'm glad I chose this one and I'd recommend it to anyone with cats.

I had a similar fountain I bought on Amazon that simply did not match up to this product. First, it comes with cleaning brushes and directions on how to disassemble the pump in order to properly clean in all the tiny cracks and crevices - PLEASE DO THIS AT *LEAST* ONCE A MONTH!!! (or more if you have more than one cat) I cannot stress the importance of cleaning *inside* the pump and all its pieces, which I'll explain in more detail below. Here are my thoughts: *Assembly: Easy to assemble but I could see where it might be a little less straightforward for someone who hadn't already used a similar product before or is not familiar with assembling items. For this, I would say the instructions are sufficient for guiding through set up. *Cleaning: So easy with the two brushes included!!! You simply remove the two top pieces, dump the tank's water, pull the pump and light out, take off the pump's two covers and pull out the tiny fan. (Pro tip: make sure to do this over a closed drain so you don't lose any pieces.) I recommend filling a sink with soapy, hot water and putting all the pieces and tank in to soak while you pull each component out to scrub and rinse. *Noise: So extremely quiet you can barely hear it, even with the flower adapter! **BUT** only when that tank is very full. As the water level lowers the fountain does get noisier. If you find water trickling/bubbling noises soothing, this shouldn't bother you as the noise is that of water trickling and not of a motor or machine. If you're like me, I find water features' sounds distracting and annoying, but not to worry, just fill it back up once it gets beyond your comfort level. If your main concern is the fountain being quiet at all times, this won't be the product for you. I'm not confident a product exists that would. *Appearance: The overall display of this fountain is very nice and appears more expensive than what it is. The light feature and how the light comes up through the metal top's holes makes the lighting such a neat addition to the overall product. I've been calling it my cat's 'little spaceship.' The quality of the pieces and overall product up close does give away the price point a bit more. Mainly the pump's components more than anything. For example, one of the covers you pop onto the pump has give and will click when pushed on it. At first I thought I hadn't clicked it onto the pump in the correct position, so I verified with the instructions. Once verified, I then thought maybe I just wasn't pushing it in hard enough for it to click all the way, but eventually realized it just had a little more give once clicked into place. I was concerned during the initial assembly but after 3 weeks of use, I do not see any evidence that this has compromised its functionality or integrity. Filters: This is my only dislike of this product. The filters have four compartments which each have it's filtering piece inside. In my other, similar fountain the filtering pieces filled the entire pocket in which they resided. This product has only a small square within each of the four pockets leaving space on either side of the filter open. I'm pretty sure, however, other filters for fountains will work in place of the ones provided with the product. *Overall: A product I can highly recommend for the price point aesthetically, functionally and for the bang for buck.

Love this fountain. Its adorable, it's quiet, my cats absolutely love it! They love it so much that we bought an additional one for upstairs. Maintenance is easier than others I have tried. Great price. I bought them in June and have had zero issues. I've recommended to friends, and their cats and small dogs love it.

I would give this product four stars, but realistically, it deserves 3.5 stars. The best part is that my cat loves it, and it's well-priced, especially with a discount. However, the downside is that the filter gets dirty and needs to be replaced every week. The worst issue I've encountered is that the pump failed within several months; this is my third replacement in three years. As I mentioned, my cat enjoys it, or else I would consider looking for an alternative. I hope they address the pump issue so that customers remain loyal.

My senior kitty has mild kidney issues and has to stay hydrated, he LOVES his fountain! God send! It's easy to put together, quiet machine, has a reliable filter and simple to clean. The blue light looks so cool in the dark. It's a neat night light and convenient to see if the water is low. Definitely recommend.

Love this water fountain. We have two dogs and four cats that this fountain serves. Of course we always wish it held more but we have tried bigger ones (not this brand) in the past and not had good experiences. This fountain is easy to clean and fill. The cord is pretty long so you have more freedom on where to place it. I love that it does not clog even with long haired pets. The filters also last a while and are cheap to replace. Highly recommend.

I bought this in the hopes of getting my cats to drink more water. It was easy to set up after washing everything, my cats were slightly hesitant to drink from it at first but within an hour of setting it up they both were happily drinking from it. I like the fact that it comes with a filter so my cats are drinking fresher, cleaner water. I also like that I don't have to refill it for a week. It's not loud at all, if anything there's a slight trickling water noise which I find relaxing. The light on the inside is nice as well, I like that I can see it at night in the dark so I don't accidentally step on it. The replacement filters are reasonably priced. In the future I may upgrade to an all stainless steel model but for now I'm happy with this fountain.

My cats love it! It’s easy to assemble, clean and replace filters. It’s quiet unless the water level drops low and doesn’t leak. The only thing that I wish is that it was all stainless steel not just the top. It keeps the water clean though and encourages them to drink more.
