He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Complete Original Series [DVD]

The DVD set is better than what is currently offered via streaming. The streaming version has de-interlace issues. Either they didn't de-interlace the video or they did it wrong because jagged edges are very noticeable throughout each episode. Playing the DVD's actually de-interlace the video as it should and looks much better. If you were trying to decide whether or not to go with streaming or the DVD set, pick the DVD set. As for the product itself, I am happy to have this in my collection. They don't make cartoons like this where there is a lesson learned in each episode and explained at the end of the cartoon for young children. The She-Ra set is good too.

I refuse to leave the Masters of the Universe a bad review, haha. I had to return these as Amazon shipped the DVDs in a bubble mailer and the discs are packaged very well. They popped out of the container and were all scratched up still inside the DVD container. These need to be repackaged and sent in a box with plenty of packaging to protect them. I'm going to try to order again and hope for the best. As far as the cartoon He-Man and the Masters of the Universe? The best cartoon of our generation and is STILL fantastic. These discs are a GREAT deal and have many extras.

The item arrive on time and in perfect condition. If you're not familiar with the classic He-Man series, I recommend you buy it, if not for your own entertainment, then for your children as every episode contains a good message in regards to how people (child or adult) should behave. Oh, and they're classic Saturday Morning Cartoons, so you can't forget that important detail.

One of the best cartoon series ever made. Over a hundred episodes made in two seasons. He man and his friends are a wonderful collection of characters to enliven this series along with bad guy skeletor. Great color on these transfers look great on the big screen. Every episode is filled with imagination and truly fun to watch. One you buy this set you will have the power.

I was happy to find this so my grandsons can watch what their daddy watched after school, ‘back in the day’ when it was on TV. Definitely a good value & in our family, great memories!

This is a great series for all of us kids. The artwork .. great lessons to life remembered and learned.. Great fun ...I am a senior still love to remember when I took my son to see the movie when he was a little younger than he is now!😍😃😘 Great memories and a great tv show. Like I said. For All Us Kids!!

I bought this while on sale, so I decided to keep it as I was offered to return it without without chance of replacement (only offered money back) and I bought it for 50% of the price while on a temporary sale. 1 ) it was advertised on swedish Amazon mentioning nothing about being an American region locked dvd. 2 ) it arrived in a cardboard envelope, and as it is a heavy set on so many discs inside a plastic case, it came with big cracks in the case and a tear on the sleeve. However the discs were not affected, and I just want all the episodes so I decided to keep it but very disappointed that the seller shipped it with so little care and protection. So beware if you don't have a region free player, and be aware it might arrive damaged. It's a heavy set, a beautiful one.

its my fault really this boxset is actually region locked, nothing about that is mentioned once you purchase it...too bad for me, i opened it, assuming it'd be good to go, but alas... region locked. i guess i need to buy an all region dvd player now

A fantastic opportunity to have the complete He-Man original animated series at home on the shelf to watch whenever you want; it's all there. Whereas there were doubtless many episodes that I missed either because of other demands or because ITV simply didn't show them all consistently finally I can work through this set and know I have seen them all! A good price for such a huge amount of material.
