Tervis Tumbler Straight Straws Clear 11in

I had heard that these straws would work with the clear acrylic lids that are used on Yeti and Yeti knock-off stainless steel tumblers. My dad likes those tumblers a lot, but not the stainless steel straws that are sold to go with them: they are often too short, and the straw keeps getting suctioned to the bottom of the tumbler.We both agree that these straws are a fine substitute. They are made of a tough, quite durable translucent plastic, stronger than some of the "reusable plastic" straws I have purchased in the past. The length is just long enough to work in a Yeti, and the straw is quite snug in the lid's opening. That works perfectly. What you want to do is adjust the straw so that it's above the bottom of the glass and still at a comfortable drinking height. Then seal the lid around the straw. Be careful not to squeeze too hard and flatten the straw: you just want a snug fit.Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase. Now I want a Tervis Tumbler too...Do I recommend this item? These are thick and substantial and work perfectly with the Tervis 1137123 Straw Lid, 24 oz. I bought little brushes on Amazon to clean them after my daily smoothie and that works well but every once in awhile it is nice to just throw the old one away and start again with a totally clean, never used straw. The combination of these straws and that lid prevents splashes and spills when the Tervis is kept relatively upright. Nice straws!

I thought I bought the flexible straw but I didn’t.

These tumblers work so well -- we use them for iced drinks and they do not sweat. On the 24oz tumblers, the straws that are 11" work best. Top shelf in the dishwasher or hand wash. So many design options!

These appear to be genuine Tervis brand straws, and look to be high quality. However, they are not 11 inches long as described on this sales page and on the sticker on the package. The seller needs to update the description.

Good quality and length but they are very tight in the openings for the Contigo Shake and Go tumblers and so only sit straight up and down when in use, no angle for easy drinking.I will probably pay the extra for the name brand next time.

Always need extra straws!!
