This is as good a BBQ rub as I have ever had. Good flavor but not too smokie.

Although it is not a replacement for all other types of rubs, it and Joe's Kansas City "original" BBQ sauce are some of the best Kansas City style BBQ condiments available. The rub is also a great compliment to fries, hamburgers and steaks all by itself. Joe's flavors run neck and neck with the Gates products for KC style, different, but both are outstanding. Put it on your bucket list for flavors you have to try before you die. Anthony Bourdain did!

Product was good on hamburgers. I wouldn’t say great but it added a little more flavor to the burger. I don’t think I would buy it again. I don’t think it was anything special. The reviews gave me great expectations for this that just weren’t there. I have to be honest I don’t think it’s a bad product I just expected to be wowed by this and I wasn’ t. But everyone’s taste is different. Someone else tasting this might love it. You would have to try it for yourself.
